You need to sleep to live, you need too dream otherwise you will eventually die. You literally must enter another state of consciousness different from the one we mainly operate within to live. The dream state is incredibly similar to what we refer to as reality, the dream state is just as real (or even more so) then what we refer to as reality. Psychedelic substances such as psilocybin, dimethyltryptamine and lysergic acid diethylamide's chemical structures are remarkably similar to our neurotransmitter serotonin. These substances allow us too alter our brain chemistry which brings us into lower or higher states of consciousness. Our brains are advanced enough to partake in the usage of these psychoactive's bringing way to these other states of consciousness.
No matter what state we are in, we always psychically remain in "reality" . Perhaps we are active always just the same in all inner realities but we have just chosen this reality as our main stay. It seems to be the most important one to operate within anyway, but none should ever have the power too belittle the importance of the other inner realities which are just as fundamentally important to our being. Perhaps after death we are plunged or projected into one of these other states? who knows? I do know that in order too live, you must dream. Literally & metaphorically !

In the province of the mind, what one believes to be true is true or becomes true, within certain limits to be found experientially and experimentally. These limits are further beliefs to be transcended. In the mind, there are no limits.- John C. Lilly

I believed that when we are asleep, well when the body is at rest; the soul doesn't need sleep, and so it separate from the body and go exploring in other dimensions while the body is rejuvenating. It says in the Book of Job, that there were a time when all of the men of God meet up together in the presence of God, and the evil one is there as well. Everytime when God speaks to the men in the Bible it says that they were put into a deep sleep or a trance, except for Moses. I believed that is the only way God can speak to us is in our sleep. Most of the inventors has gotten their information is while they are asleep. I guess that is the only way we can pay any attention to the spirits is when we disconnect from our physical nature.

This is an interesting thought but who has chosen to stay in this reality?
