How to get rid of emotional baggage

I'm planning the biggest trip of my life, perhaps a week from now. I'm planning on doing 5 grams of some very potent Copelandias/Pan Cyans.
I'm scared that I will have a bad trip or weird trip because right now I do have a bit of emotional baggage and am in kind of weir place in my life. I'm not going to get into specifics but it's been a weird summer and there is some raw emotions and insecurities and some anxiety about upcoming events that is floating around inside me and I'm just wondering what is the best way to temporarily become at peace with or just drop that emotional baggage temporarily so that I'm not bothered by it during the trip?

I tried a juice fast (+nuts and seeds) for 7 days. that set me strait. day 2 is hard, day 7 I was not touching the ground, every task was effortless. my mind was less restricted & was pumped with really healthy foods, void of all fluff like sugar and animal products which cause massive inflammation and mental slowness(some hippies call that sobering sense of the physical a body load).

-------------------- But if you're in a hurry, and really got to go If you're in a hurry, might have to find out slow That it's one thing to try and another to fly You get there quicker just a step at a time It's one thing to bark, another to bite The show ain't over till you pack up at night

do you really want an honest reply, or do you just want to be encouraged to go ahead and (literally) blow your mind? If the latter, you will find no shortage of people on this forum who will tell you what you want to hear. If the former, then here goes: Wait until you don't feel the need to seek counsel in this matter, until you are confident you can handle anything that comes up--because a dose like that of that variety of mushroom is going to really fuck you up big time ESPECIALLY if you are scared of it.
-------------------- My father used to say: I don't care what else you do in life, just don't be an asshole. People, forgive me when I forget what my daddy said. Cut back the proliferating list of people whose opinions can hurt you. Unless they have done or want to do you some good, their views are just not worth tracking. Saul Bellow “People are just cannibals unless they leave each other alone.” Doris Lessing Those whom the gods would save, they dower with compassion. Mr. P. Silocybin
