How do you think the whole Syrian conflict will end?

I understand this shit started with protests against the Assad regime but now there's so many rebel groups fighting each other that it's hard to discern exactly what the fuck is even going on anymore. Definition of a cluster fuck. I can't see how this will ever be resolved with so many groups with separate interests fighting each other. I feel like this whole thing could have been avoided if Assad had just pulled his head in and stepped down. Now it seems that won't even make a difference.
How will this shit end? If it ever does.

i don't see human conflict ending, too much pressure to survive.
in this particular area it is a proxy war and even if syria finally has one side prevail a close proximity area will succumb as well.

it ends when the world finally runs out of oil and rare earth metals, or when isreal finally gets nuked off the planet whichever happens to come first.
also of note, now that America has its own oil, prepare for some really crazy shit to start happening here. we are about to become the middle east.

what, that makes little sense. Why would america become the middle east? America is the big kid on the block. Aint no one wants to fuck with them directly, hence proxy wars and cowardly little terrorists

theres war in the middle east because of oil, now we have oil, so now we are a target as well. You've seen how pissed they got when we got shit rolling, they've manipulated the oil prices hardcore. There's people losing billions, and they are pissed.

Murica is THE big power though.... I mean sure the others need oil to. But you won't see the likes of Russia or China attacking america directly for fuel anytime soon. That would be immensely stupid on their part.

the attack will be in the form of a terrorist attack, they mearly need to shut our production down at the moment. When the east runs dry you bet your ass Russia and china will come. also Russia/china would beat our ass, our only hope is one of our allies stepping in, but at that point they might want our oil too.
you kinda gotta wonder if America even has allies anymore to be honest, every country is out for themselves or will be

Nah you're looking at it all wrong. It would never come to direct war between those superpowers. Espionage and proxy wars and some fuckery maybe, but america's oil is not worth the shitstorm that would ensue. There are other sources of energy, and even other places to get oil. I just don't see it being in China's benefit to take down america.

It will end with ISIS occupying all of Syria and the Levant and the rest of the Syrian population being transplanted into Europe.
Seriously those Syrians need to go and fuck off back to their shithole desert country and stop being a burden on Europe and people that have nothing to do with their fucking problems

how would having our land and resources not benefit china? don't you think they are getting a little tired of being our slaves? And at this point they control almost all manufacturing, if a long term war broke out we couldn't even sustain it, china could keep printing out planes and boat, soon as we lose ours were fucked, we ain't gunna make shit. Its also not hard to see china and Russia are in bed together, but funny thing is when you hear the news do you ever hear anything at all about france, britian, Germany, ect? those dudes are like sitting in a corner trying to pretend they aren't there.
A couple towel heads in a plane destroyed America for years, if china or Russia came we aren't nearly as strong as you think we are. we might spend shit loads of money on the military but were also corrupt as shit and wasteful. we don't even know if those planes were a real attack or something we did ourselves, if a major country did something I imagine it would have some major effects

9/11 did not destroy america for years. it has not been in the best interest of world powers to fight each other directly for some time, even the cold war: hence nothing happening. It's all posturing and proxy wars. This isn't the dark ages any longer, there's an awful lot more to it than land. China will already own us in time. They don't need to bomb us, that would just damage their future investments. It's not beneficial to overpower and control a country through brute force, when a lighter hand will do. It's all a matter of economics, and that's why you won't see any big powers doing things against their best interest. That shit belongs to guerrilla fighters and religious states

It changed to the benefit of the man. 9/11 was extremely convenient for the war machine and the big wigs. The feelings of individual american citizens do not matter in this arena of discussion, though obviously 9/11 was a big deal and a tragedy, world powers don't respond to tragedy: they respond to opportunity.

lol benefit of THE man if you look at the man as the mega corporations who run EVERYTHING. I'm not saying there's even a conspiracy, there doesn't need to be. Fact is, america isn't run for Americans its run for the corporations who have stakes all of the world, and have a pretty solid hold on governments all over the world as well. America runs on war man. Just the way it is. It's a pretty awesome country I'm no american hater, but it's big business that calls the shots
