Citric, Ascorbic, and Fumaric acid in agar?

Will this hinder growth in tiny amounts?

I believe it won't but can not definitively say so.

Citric, lactic, and absorbic acid are found in mycelium and are used frequently with agar.

Fumurate shouldn't be an issue but has been known to be utilized by yeast to produce L-Malate so I would assume it would benefit yeast slightly. I'm not sure how basidiomycetes processes it but it has been used as a treatment in some animal fungal infections so it could be antifungal to some species.

Why add fumuric acid? Citric and lactic are the best for adjusting pH for fungi and have basically become the standard. They are also cheap and readily available.

Added something to my agar then read ingredients. Says it contains citric and Ascorbic acid. Then at the bottom in fine print says it has less than 2% Fumaric acid. I used less than 1% of this ingredient in my agar solution I'm guessing it shouldn't be a problem. Just that I searched it and couldn't find anything then got curious.

Well I probably worded that wrong I read ingredients and knew it had citric and Ascorbic. But then read the fine print and found out it had Fumaric acid. I'm like 98% sure its not enough to hinder growth anyways I just got curious after searching. I've been doing an ass load of experimenting with agar recipes lately.

With it being so dilute it probably won't cause issues. Many preservatives in products are only effective at a certain concentration and pH so no worries.

Have fun with the agar recipes! Thats always interesting.

Well this wasn't even part of the experiment. I ran out of food coloring so grabbed a koolaid packet and read ingredients. Salt being one of them it was a no go. But wait I have one odd packet of generic drink mix I read the packet and main ingredient is dextrose. Somehow? This doesn't matter I'm looking for just the color so I read on. No salt. But has citric acid. I use it then read fine print and it has Fumaric acid I says fook it and use.
I'm about to pour dishes now.
