What causes this sleepy feeling?

Ok, I'd like to see if anyone out there has experienced this before. Let's say you're talking to your crush or someone you are falling in love with... You're making lots of serious eye contact whilst talking about something completely unrelated to love/flirting and you find that you just start getting this sleepy feeling where you feel like you could lay down and fall asleep.
You notice the other person getting sleepy and acting sorta drunk. Before the conversation started they were wide awake and "normal". This happens A LOT when we talk. Also, it's not like our conversations are boring or last a long time. We just both get sleepy-drunk like talking to each other. I can't find anyone else who can say they know what is going on.

Its the GHB you both put in each other's drink that is kicking in.

The release of oxytocin makes us warm and cuddly.

that's itttt! Must be... I notice it when we talk, it's especially cute when he gets all drunk-like and his eyes roll back in his head when he's speaking. Never experienced this before but I have also never had this kind of chemistry/connection with someone in my life thank you!

It's a boost of oxytocin (also released after sex too) and serotonin (makes you happy). So yeah you can totally be love-drunk. This is totally a chemical thing and you can fall in deeper "love" when you share it with that person. Dreamy shit.

It's especially intense when you feel so alone in the world and you find someone that can look at you and tell you what you are thinking and UNDERSTAND you completely because you feel so misunderstood by everyone... like you share the same mind. Some beautiful shit and yes, it's scary AF, but i've never felt anything so good

I've felt it before and it's awesome until that person moves to a different state, almost immediately finds a new partner, and never talks to you again.
But hey, at least she'll still be your "best friend"

That sucks It's so hard to find those rare types. I don't know if any of you are familiar with MBTI, but I am INTJ and he is INTP. I don't like labels, but I feel like these classifications describe a large part of me. I know there is another girl that might be close enough like her out there for you EmptySpace. Check out 16 Personalities page if you haven't yet.
Bill Cosby ? lol.
