I'm an Ikea furniture builder master. Haha All our stuff has lasted for years. What kind of furniture did you build? One thing I've learned is to use an actual power screwdriver than a normal handheld one. But maybe that's just bc I'm a girl. Not dogging on handy women..... I just don't have that much strength screwing stuff. I carry heavy furniture around the house without a problem.
I always go by the pictures. That's just my way tho. So the directions aren't hard for me. One day I'll get real hardy furniture and would love to get into woodworking but this is what I can afford at the time for how long they last for me.
If I wasn't so lazy, I would totally whore myself out as a Furniture Assembly Specialist. Have my own tool bag, power tools and everything. Had the Comcast guy come out once when I was putting together some book cases and he was all like "Wow, you did that fast."
Mah nigga a) power tools b) it's a bookcase with instructions not the Eiffel Tower and c) why is my internet not working though?
I think about being a Furniture Assembly Specialist too!! But yea, same thing.. laziness. Plus I have too many other things going on and my job right now is decent enough for me to focus on other things. Maybe when it slows down for me with my job.

I built a bed I got from them. I think it was under $500, but that's not the point. A paper with english instructions costs them about a $.01. I put the bed together correctly, it was just a junky design so it broke. The mattress completely fell through one day during sexy time and it was pretty funny when it happened. I put it back together with real lumber and its actually pretty nice now.
Those bastards. I misunderstood you the first time and I apologize.
Haha you guys broke your bed. But glad you fixed it and it's all good. Was it that weird file wood thing that broke? Because that def broke with us. Or was it the actual frame. Sorry so many questions. Haha

It's a 2014 14' Hobie Pro Angler. The only things I've added so far are the yeti 35 cooler with custom rod holers, the gear track with the ram mount rod holers , rear trolling rod holder extension's, anchor trolly, Lawrance elite 5 fish finder, yakattak flag with night light and the plug in wheels to move it around. It weighs about 150lbs with no gear.
