I think it could be G. Junonius, but they're rare here. Is there anything beside geography that could disprove this? There are some pics of G.J.s that look nothing like these, but then there's some that look remarkably similar. I think the differences might be due to the heat.

Maybe the are some faded G. luteofolius that have been covered in spores so much that they look orange. I've found some pretty orange luteofolius before.

Definitely not lutefolius, there were only spores on some of them. I actually soaked one in water and it just made the smell more apparent, still looked the same pale orange on the cap.

What makes you say definitely not lutefolius? Have you scoped them already and you're playing coy? Because that would be the only logical reason for that answer

That's good to hear. I picked them and took some closer pictures of the whole bunch....kinda looks like bluing to me, anyone else think so before I nom these? Also Lutes are supposed to be just slightly weaker than cubes aren't they?

Looks like bluing, yes, and they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay less potent than cubes. I might not have used enough A's in "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay"

Oh I misread the chart. I forgot that 1/8 of cubes is level 4 not level 3. Huh, they seem to be even weaker than the Pan Subbs I find all the time. But from what I hear a gym trip is pretty unique, like more calm and relaxed with way less anxiety. Which is exactly the kind of shroom trip I want, as opposed to the anxious frantic euphoria of Cubes.
