Nah I make it all from scratch as I plan to use it. I just keep the flour in the freezer to keep it fresh longer.

Baked white cheddar lobster macaroni.
I will eat that and not need to worry about federal time. Although thinking about it being illegal certainly makes me crave it more.

That's too much damn work, even for me. This is coming from someone who has made fresh bread entirely to make fresh bread crumbs
I just like cooking. When I'm in the mood to cook, I really don't see it as work, I see it as a hobby.

Anyone considering making their own pasta may want to read this: http://www.seriouseats.com/2015/01/best-easy-all-purpose-fresh-pasta-dough-recipe-instructions.html The yolk:white ratio she arrives at is really perfect I find!

There is one sure fire way to get me on the street to protest and maybe snipe a politician or two. Making pasta illegal.
I would violently protest my way through the shields, batons and pepper spray to usurp power over the country. I would behead the the guy who pulled that shit off, I would make ISIS look like amateurs. Then I will claim the country as my own and socialize pasta so that anybody can have has much pasta they can shove down their throats, free of charge.
I don't want to live in a world where pasta is illegal. No. Fucking. Way.

Yes, but it would be homemade, free of industrial chemicals, free of toxins, free of GMOs, free of pesticides and would be for religious purposes only.
All hail the flying spaghetti monster.

Shroomslip said: I already do make my own sometimes. I have like 6 bags of pasta flour in the freezer. I've been too lazy to do it recently, but it tastes so much better.
Same here, I love making my own pasta whenever I have the time. It's just a pain in the ass because it takes so much time, with the rolling and kneading the dough, rolling it super thin, slicing it with a knife, hanging the pasta on a wire rack to dry, etc… but soooooo much better and chewier than store-bought pasta when you're finally finished.
Also, why flour in the freezer? I wasn't aware that flour ever goes bad. I thought you could just store it in the cabinet or pantry or whatever.
Pasta is probably my favorite carb, so if it was illegal I would absolutely make my own.

But you can buy crap sauce in the supermarkets that costs top dollar or you can make your own that's better quality and is cheaper, and fun.

Ive tried more brands of jarred pasta sauce than youve ever seen in your life. Not all of them are crap hell theres plenty of them are good and decently priced. You can also doctor up most jars into something quite good in no time. I think making large amounts of homemade sauce to freeze or can is a smart idea. Making homemade pasta jus isnt worth it to me

I'm not even a real big fan of spaghetti, but if it was illegal I would probably want it more.
