Hey everyone.
Has anyone tried either of these two for anxiety relief and seen any benefits?
My life has improved dramatically over the course of the past 4 or 5 months, but im still lookin for that extra oomph. Both of these sound promising as I've tried almost everything else.
Any feedback is GREATLY appreciated.

I don't have much to add - but a few years ago I was in the habit of drinking gotu kola tea frequently... it tasted nice (mild, kinda like grass) and it might have relaxed me a bit, it was hard to tell. But I've read really good things about gotu kola which was what interested me in it

I've been wondering how you've been doing. Glad to hear you're experiencing some relief.

heyyyyyyy bunny. good to hear from you.
yeah, its been a crazy road. im definitely in a muchhhh better place now than I was six months ago when we were talking.
I started going to AA, and I got a sponsor. its not so much about what the program of AA is doing for me, as much as it is facing my fears everyday. going to meetings and being social (which I haven't been since being an isolated hardcore addict), and raising my hand and talking about real shit, how im feeling in the moment. im reading a lot into Buddhism and stuff and I really buckled down with my meditation practice too. its a struggle, but im workin at it. feeling much better.
how is everything????

That's awesome.
I quit drinking for like 24 days, but just relapsed. The fucking devil's nectar man....
Other than that I am phenomenal. I'm managing this yoga studio and teaching 2 classes a week, and am really close to getting my business going. I'm not wild about where I am geographically but that's ok.....
I don't know anything about either of those herbs, but glad you're doing better.
Have you ever tried yoga nidra??

You should check it out. It's a style of deep relaxation guided meditation that is meant to induce a state of "yogic sleep" or in between sleeping & dreaming. I have found it really helps enhance my sitting meditations, and overall anxiety levels.

Anywhere from 5-20 minutes. Not every day. Sometimes I do walking meditation instead of sitting meditation in the morning.

They call it "lucid sleeping" actually because you are actually still fully conscious.

Please do yogabunny. Sounds interesting.
I never really gave meditation or yoga a shot, It's probably more fun(and better for me) than my current PT for bad knees/shoulders is.
and M4d, been a while bro. ... I've never heard of those. Do report back what you think about them if you try them.

Check this link right here, if you're interested in Yoga Nidra tracks. They offer a multitude of recordings in many different languages and settings. Enjoy! I just got into Yoga Nidra myself.
