Thanks for clearing that up. I. Knew bacterial tubs fruited. I just didnt know they could yield this much.
Also could this more then likely affect future grows? Thanks i usually always search and read and rarely post.
Goodnight and Peace out..

No bacteria won't affect future grows. It would be the mold that also appears to be peeking around the corner to watch for. If you start seeing green or powdery looking white, get the tub outside to finish. Also, just watch what you're doing. I have spores all over my damn place. It didn't help I'd misted some tubs that had white mold and I didn't know any better. A year ago. It still gives me problems.
But you can take steps. If I can still grow, you can too. It'll just take extra work to make sure everything's good. I've even started putting on a tyvek suit to work in

For future reference fruiting before 100% colonization is a dead giveaway that you have a contaminated sub... The sub realizes the contamination and begins producing fruitbodies in a last ditch effort to try and drop spores... It's a survival thing.

It was fully colinized. I cased early and then put it into fruiting conditions. It started colonizing the cvg casing. I started to patch parts of the casing that were being colonized. It didnt work. In hind sight it would of colonized the casing, which is what i should of let it do instead of trying to patch it.
The uncolinized area in the pic was from patching the casing, that was the third flush pic. During the first through the second flush there were 3-4 spots uncolinized from foolishly trying to patch and save the casing. I forgot to mention i patched it while in fruiting conditions before any signs of pins and it was exposed to good fae.
Im not saying it wasn't bacterial though. Most all the patching did colonize slowly all the way to the third flush. If i wouldn't of trashed it, that pat h woudve colonized just like the rest did, im pretty sure anyways.
But this was a learning experience and it still yielded over 2oz cracker dry.

yeah casings aren't supposed to colonize, CVG casings do though. Especially if you case early.
It honestly looks alright to me. Nothing is screaming bacteria to me. Every substrate has bacteria to an extent. As long as you're happy with the yields, that's all that matters .
It does look dry without flash. Without flash it's hard to see any glistening on the surface.

Shit... Thank you.. I think I actually got the situation somewhat accurately explained. It was a 29 qt mini mono spawned with 2quarts oats to 2quarts cvg. It ripped through the cvg, lightning fast. Like a lil over two days...
I took the tape off added polyfill and exposed to fruiting conditions shortly after. Then cased with1qt cvg which started to colonize. I should've let it colonize instead of trying to save the casing by patching.
Ive cased a mini mono before with good results, but it didnt yield as much cause i used less spawn.

Niceeeee
Also noob- those look pretty good. Maybe some interwoven bacteria but I can't really tell from the pics. Obviously now that you opened them they aren't worth shit but you should have kept transferring a couple more times before dismissing it. Either way, I like that you've been getting into agar. Making moves
