Growing Gymnopilus Luteofolius Outdoors 3

This is a part of my outdoor growing adventures, growing outdoors is fairly easy and greatly rewarding. The gymnopilus genus are a woodloving genus with many different species some active some not some edible, for this particular grow i used Gymnopilus Luteofolius.
I started my grow just like any other on agar usign the following procedures.
 box of 1/4 pint jars
stabbed a hole with a screw driver
 took 3 pieces of poly
 pulled them apart
 rolled them all together
 folded it over
 twisted the bottom together
shoved the twisted part through the screwdriver hole and pulled it as tight as i can
 voila!
 whole box done
time to pull the ingredients(i used pasty's recipe with honey)
 measured shit out
 mixed it up
 heated to help dissolve everything
 got my jars ready
blue food coloring was added to look cool
put enough in each jar to cover the bottom

 pc time
 time to swipe spores

once i seen some germination i made a couple of transfers before going to grain just to be sure i had something clean to work with
knocked up a jar with a wedge
once colonized i got some woodchips pasturized simply hydrating the woodchips and loaded a jar(actually did 4 jars but for this purpose heres one
i use my pc and bring water a little over halfway up the jars measuring the core temp, turn my stove on high till water starts to boil and shut it off and put the lid on, i get a perfect 155 for 60 minutes.
Then it is as simple as inoculating your woodchips by mixing everything evenly and once colonized putting it outdoors, in my case to a new bed made of more chips
then it's just a matter of keeping it moist all spring/summer and waiting for your fruits!

sweet, really nice work there
3 questions please, which wood species for beds are best that you've seen?
can more than one/how many species co-habitate the same bed, if you've tried this
last one, what have you found the 'shelf life' of a bed is if it is not replenished or replaced each season?
cool grow, looks like a restaurant across the way there maybe. what a pleasant surprise you might provide for that 1 in 3 million people eating there at just the right time and place lol

Best species is depending on what you're going for, but i'd say azurs/cyans. yes there are way more then one species in that bed...there are baoes(already fruited but i missed them) cyans, azurs, allenii(not time yet) gymnopilus(2 species)oysters(already fruited) and sra's(nothing popped yet). weather or not they all fruit is up to the gods i suppose shelf life....i move around alot but the bed i did 4 years ago of cyans is still producing every year without my help and are making there way around the block on there own that's a gym across the street and my landlords ass in the left side of the pic

I went out today and found a BUNCH of amnitas. This summer was like the worst drought in a long time. I was happy to find mushrooms were still so abundant
Nice work cron makes me want to cult them even more!
