Hypothetically...

If two people were in a room, one of them truly believed that he/she was levitating and the other person truly believed they saw the other person levitate, did they levitate?

Why do you ask? I want to say no based off only that unless there is more to this.

Seeing or believing, even when combined, do not equal absolute reality.
I'm sure someone's gonna find some fault on this, but if we're talking in a total scientific sense, then the person would have needed to overcome gravity. If they believed they did, and the other person thought the saw them do it, that does not mean they necessarily defeated gravity.

People only can levitate if we can reliably create a way to make it happen damn near anytime, anywhere on earth with identical conditions. Just like ghosts- Otherwise they fall into the category of "not that real" and "maybe real but completely and utterly useless to 99% of the population"

Its just something that popped into my head. Just like if every single person on the planet believed the sky was green then would the sky be green? Its easy to say no because we know the sky is blue but if you and everybody else believed it was green then in your 'reality' would it not be?

Well, the Emperor's New Clothes is certainly a real phenomena (which is what you are basically describing IMO) but the emperor was still naked.

No, then the color blue would just be called green. But it would still be the same color. The way we think about something doesn't change the reality of it.

So if everyone agreed to change just what the name is? A rose is a rose is a rose... Just because everyone agrees to call blue green does not change the essence, but only the name.
Like do you think if everyone mutually agreed poop from butts smelled awesome it would be true? If everyone started calling poop breathmints, would they be breathmints?

There's a good possibility we don't all see colors the same way as is. What is green to you may be my blue. But the fact that grow up agreeing on what any given name of a color is, we wouldn't really know.
There's evidence to support the fact we actually do NOT see colors the same. It is influenced by more than just biology as well. Culture and language plays a part, as do other factors.
There's a tribe over in Africa or something who have a system where multiple colors (or rather certain shades) share the same name. They can easily make a distinction between two nearly identical shades of green (because while almost identical they have different names) but struggle and are stumped by certain blues compared to certain greens (because they share the same name).
There's a documentary out there about it by BBC called Do you see what I see, if you're interested in watching it.

You may want to look into logical positivism vs. constructivism. These are two opposing theories about the nature of reality. I think you may like bits of the debate between adherents of these perspectives.

That sounds pretty interesting, ill check it out. But lets say if the majority of people believe something, and that belief becomes reality, then some shady people with ill intentions could take full advantage of that... there's also the other end of the spectrum where it could be used to make this world a better place... which wont happen because too many people are content with things being the way they are just because its the way things are.

Here's another example. If a group of people go to a party believing its going to be shit, chances are the party will be shit. If they all go in believing they are going to have an awesome night then they probably will. Therefore their beliefs are changing their reality. I believe that this is the way our perspective/thoughts can directly affect our outside reality, and people need to be more aware of this.
