Too many questions.

After asking a SHITLOAD of questions(some people say too many...:ha) ive recently harvest the last of my first ever monotubs(4).
Because I used MS for the tubs, some of them were just weird in terms of growth, but I used it as a learning experience(cloned some good fruits for the first time..etc.).
As I was harvesting them, I noticed on 2 of the tubs that the fruits started turning black on the top. These were the tubs that were more densely packed. I am thinking that this way maybe caused by using spawn that had some bacterial presence in it but didn't show anything after spawning and casing. ANother thing I was thinking is that maybe I let the spawn sit for too long and although it didn't show any metabolites before spawning maybe this could be on the right track of what happened.
The last thing I could think of is that I waited too long to harvest the tub, but I waited till a day or so after the veil broke
Let me know if you have experienced this, and if you figured out the causes.

First two pics same tub 1st and 2nd flush. 4th pic is the 2nd tub. 4th pic is the 3rd tub as well. and the last pic is the tub that got a little cobweb, but I stopped it quickly and it produced a decent spawn.
Out of the 4 tubs, I only have 1 total weight of 201.2 grams, and that was the first flush, I think the 2nd was probably somewhere around 100 or so. Pics are of 3 tubs, one with the 2nd flush.

appreciate it bro, but do you see what im talking about in the first pic, the blackish tint on the bigger caps?
and also, to re hydrate the substrate for a second flush, I poured about a cup maybe 2 of water underneath the substrate and then misted it a little bit on the tip, worked pretty well.
what do you do?

I've dunked in the past, and I've misted heavily twice a day. Both work, but it like the misting technique better for the sake of convenience.
I honestly wouldn't worry about the blackish tint on the cap. Maybe just harvest the same day the veil breaks next time. Otherwise, I don't really know what could have caused it.

This is why you can't be afraid to ask questions. Great grow

The black might be spores. Does it wrote off, and leave your fingers dark purple-black?

Thanks guys, finally getting the hang of it and I owe it to Azur not even gonna lie. Got me on my feet and past the bullshit.
No the black on the caps are not spores, it makes the cap squishy so that's why im thinking it is either starting to decompose from bacterial contamination. What do you think?
BTW eatyu, im lovin those peens

Sounds like it might be bacterial blotching.
It sometimes happens if you over mist. If it wipes off its probably spores, if it is squishy and spreads then it is possibly bacterial blotching.
Do they smell at all?
Amazing canopy BTW

it was bacteria im almost certain, I know what spores look like. The mushrooms did smell pretty bad when drying.
I don't mist tubs, unless its after the first flush and between the second.

Yeah i leave my trays alone too, it really stresses the fruits in my opinion unless it's a very slight mist.

Well honestly you can have insane amounts of mist (even rain droplets) if you have the fae to evaporate it off the caps before they get blotches. With my monos I always have at least half the top holes unstuffed.
Since before it wasn't the age of max fae, too much misting damaged fruits. That's where the whole problems and rumors came from. These days it's normal to mist the sub and fruits with no hindrances. Pretty much 95% of all problems are from not enough fae lol

ill try that with one of my tubs now, ill be fruiting 2 more tomorrow after I case them.
Ive noticed that in my SGFC that if I mist too much the caps will get soft and start getting spots.
