trich almost has a sweet coconut smell. Also it's most likely filled with all types of mycorrhizal fungi/bacteria.

thanks, that's good information.
i pasteurized the soil at 180°F for 5hours
it was damp though and so i used shirts to soak some water out of it afterwards.
using a dehumidifier in the room helped it start to, somewhat, dry and about a week later it much more dry but still has some hydration to it.
there was some of the original smell after the pasteurization and now after whiffing it again, after this week, i am unsure if it is from residual compounds or some recolonization now on top of that.
i got some Endo/Ecto seed mix without trichoderma (or bacteria and nutrients) from Fungi Perfecti so i am unsure if i am going to just mix a good amount with the soil, or pasteurize again before that.
something else i am wondering is if this mix can be Liquid Cultured (or at least the Ecto in it can be). in that case maybe that could be added to the soil and the plants and fungi could use the LC liquid.
i am wondering about using a system of the Myccorhizae without trichoderma and adding edibles/medicinals/actives
i am wondering if that could be done, if there is a humid dome area under the canopy, so the mushrooms can flourish and the moisture doesn't rot the plant. (like a little mini biome) the trichoderma and/or invasive fungi are the only things i am unsure about. i just wouldn't want some grey mold, root rot, powdery mildew coming back or popping up or trich eating stuff.
