Just casually strolling down the road and coming across battles, love the idea, hope its well implemented I have fond memories of the classic blue/red. Imagine placing GPS co-ordinates in far out locations for rare species,

It is a super cool idea, but do not own a smart phone, so I will never experience it.

It would really be better on a headset like google glass; there's been a resounding call on the interwebs for that. Or if someone was to make a dedicated Pokédex

I just want full virtual reality pokemon. If such a thing existed I would buy an Oculus in a heartbeat. If they combined it with something similar to my ideas for a more realistic, intense pokemon game I think I'd cry tears of joy.

Realistic pokemon would be better if it were the same overall plot (collecting the badges and fighting team ____) but with people and pokemon shaped by how a pokemons abilities would actually effect thangs were they real. Swarms of bug pokemon could wipe out towns and a razor leaf would cut off limbs and other thangs like that. The cities would essentially be highly militarized sovereign states all overseen by the pokemon league (IE: The Grand Champion (Lance/Blue's character essentially) is essentially the undefeatable God-King of the region). The Gym Leaders are essentially brutal dictators that rule their cities with an iron fist in order to prevent them from being wiped out by wild pokemon. All of them are former champions (people that got past 1-4 members of the Elite 4 but failing to defeat the Grand Champion) with incredibly powerful pokemon that you're honestly not expected to defeat.
Like Brock's Onix would be almost entirely impossible to defeat with a pikachu or other starter unless you have a PERFECTLY executed strategy so to earn the badge the conditions are survival to 5 minutes or forfeit. Team Rocket or whatever Team would try to kill you for interfering in their plans, some caught wild pokemon (depending on type/level/and species) would have to be domesticated (or at least pacified) otherwise they'll attempt to kill you. Main character has to spend far more money on his travels in order to acquire survival supplies and pay to take up a short bit of a Gym Leaders time for a battle and you can make money by killing and harvesting the bodies of wild pokemon for meat/fur/claws/etc and selling them in the cities to relevant buyers. Trying to capture a wild pokemon is far more difficult then in the games since your attacks are far more likely to kill them by accident then it is to knock them out or otherwise stun them.

That's so... utterly disturbing I... I love it!
I wished a rich visionary would buy The Pokémon Company to make this kind of pokemon happen!

Wow, that looks awesome. It sounds like a combination of Geocaching and Pokemon. I already Geocach, and i like Pokemon, so i'll definitely check this out. Hopefully it's not a US thing only.

I wonder if pokemon go will track your location, so that if you're by a pond or the beach there will be psyduck and squirtles and things, or you will find zubats if you're in a cave or something

Of course it will track your location, that's the whole point. But I doubt you will get decent GPS signal in a cave...

Wish I could catch more pokemon from my yard.
Went around to two small parks right down the street. Smoked up and caught me about 7 different pokemon.
But now I'm home there's nothing to do.
I'm level 4 and need to be level 5 to do gyms and I think I have to go there in person
