If there was a military coup in the US I'm pretty sure it would be at the hands of PMCs. The people who stay in "the military" usually do have integrity and I can't see that ever happening. Of course if someone were in control of both sides they could pit them against each-other for their own benefit, but I don't see why anyone in power would want to do that knowing that it could very well mean their own destruction.
The real revolution that needs to happen is in people's minds and is being fought every day. I kinda suspect that things will have to get desperate on some level first, but I just cannot picture a violent revolution from within the US at this time. I am more afraid of being forced into war with Russia or China, because I think that would be WW3.

It seems better to have war sooner than later. We are at the peak of our powers and the enemy is still modernizing and building up. War with China should have begun yesturday. We have already essentially surrendered territory to the communists in the South China Sea.

Article in OP is retarded. "In a new survey by YouGov, 29 percent of respondents said they can imagine a situation in which they would support the military taking control of the federal government"
Oh well gee let me put on my imagination cap and imagine any number of infinite scenarios where this might happen with my support. What a clickbait joke.

I am going to disagree and stick with the option of no war at all if possible. We're all modern enough that it would be catastrophic off the charts, and at that point who cares who is in power. The people lose.

Nukes were used in WW2 evidence points to them being used. Depends on the stakes and players involved, but it is a distinct possibility, as are chemical, biological, and perhaps other warfare techniques that we deem unacceptable. The revolution has to be in our minds, otherwise there will be no revolution, there will only be death on an unimaginable scale.

If the bottom line is that the US policy is to not surrender territory and the Chinese policy to to gain territory and expand their naval threats then war is inevitable. To me, that seems to be the case. This great conflagration will occur its just a matter of when. It would be to communist Chinese benefit to defer it as long as possible while they continue to build up. It is to US benefit to have it out immediatly. Thats the way I see it. If we wait we might lose or otherwise get pushed out. If we strike now victory is ours.

I don't know. I doubt even if we had WW3 that nukes would be used. I mean I could be wrong, but for one side to use nukes they are essentially damning the entire planet to nuclear winter for like what thousands of years? I find it hard to believe that any of the superpowers today would actually result to that.
unless of course they have a "fallout" plan, and have things setup to live comfortably during a nuclear winter

That's pretty out there even for the financial elite of America. That's not necessarily comfortable, and when you have the whole Earth, and a significant amount of resources at your disposal, why would you choose to live in a bunker for the rest of yours and your children's lives. It would be literally insane, and if that happened it would be a tragedy, but that would just be insane and stupid, and not a loss that any amount of wealth could cushion.

For real? I thought you'd like him. Survival-of-the-fittest mentality, strongly opposed illegal immigration, owns his own business, is a billionaire. Stop lying I know you're going to vote for him. Which I wouldn't really blame you, all the other candidates are even shittier IMO; just in different ways.
Not at all. I think he is a serial bankrupt and a phony self aggrandizing cunt. He was, as they said about Steinbrenner, born on third base and thought he hit a triple. I can't stand him. His stance on immigration is correct but his stance on protectionism is not.

because we have virtual reality now, you can live happily in a bunker filled with video games, people are already doing it.
plus there's always antartica and tropical islands. its most likely just the major countries that get most of the radiation

Bro Walker doesn't have a chance man. All you got to do is look at the media to tell who's going to win. And it's Trump. The only thing that was standing in his way was Hillary but she fucked herself with that email shit, Biden was his next biggest opponent but he isn't going to run, and third is Jebb, but you can tell from interviews and such that he just doesn't have what it takes, and being GW's brother meant he had to be fucking amazing to win anyways. I mean I like the guy, probably more than all the rest, but he just not aggressive enough; Trump is just going to rip all the other candidates to shreds. IMO
Lol @ Look at the media to see whose going to win.
They'll show you only who they want to win.

The elections are so far away, most of the media hates Trump even more than I do, and he really has no idea what he's doing. I believe he is topped out solely because of his celebrity. We got a long way to go and I think the Republican Party is going to eventually cut his nuts off.
