The folk implosion is well worth checking out. Pretty sure they did the soundtrack for Kids but the only person I ever met that knew of them was the girl that showed me their stuff.

Cursive is another one of my favorite underrated bands

Brad Sucks is worth checking out, I've been listening to this song like at least once a day for the last few months it's ridiculous.

I'll conclude with Margot & the Nuclear So & So's

All very definitely some of my favorite bands.

Awesome, thanks for the share. Would this be considered surf rock? I'm not super familiar with the genre, but I feel like a lot of the stuff I like has roots in that.

That was smooth, very interesting guitar tone he is using. I wonder what effects he used to do that :strokebeard:

I am about to get my morning jam on, probably start with some lake and groove on into some other groovy stuff.

This album seems very prime:

Sweet Smoke: Just A Poke

Here is their description:
Quote:

Sweet Smoke were a 1960s and 70s psychedelic jazz-rock band. They incorporated many different influences, such as jazz, funk and island rhythms. They were originally formed in Brooklyn, New York in 1967, although the band moved to live as a commune in Germany before the decade was out. They have a fan presence on the internet to this day

Have you been in jail for the past two years or something? 8 posts since 2013 is impressive  sorry if you were actually in jail

That is some chill folk though, I have been digging some similiar stuff. I prefer some more intense prog rock craziness to balance out the softness though.

This band has some great jams

:jamming:

I am really loving their guitarist, their vocalist is pretty interesting too.

This song too:
