This is the P. Cubensis photo from my awesome book "Common Florida Mushrooms" by the great Dr., James W. Kimbrough.
My digital camera is a real dinosaur, so the resolution of the words does not come through so good, but above the shrooms it says that if you eat them you will experience "nausea, headache, prostration, and convulsions." hehehe well duh, of course you will experience those things, they are the funny shrooms not the edibles!~ Doctor Kimbrough wrote a awesome book.
Many Shroomy days and many Shroomy nights, GG

yeah, that just goes to show why people who write field guided should not comment on the edibility of mushrooms they did not extensively research.
the issue of "convulsions" is believed to be due to a mistake in older literature that confused the mild shivering some people experience with convulsions. that is a pretty lam mistake to have made. what if the author had taken another's word for it the other way around, and had called a toxic mushroom edible?

i frequently get the yawns too. if they said that, they'd be being honest on the subject of pslocybian mushrooms, and we just can't have that .
