A couple of hangers oners from the first flush that were a little behind the rest so I left them to mature a little more:

I didn't weight this bunch, just picked and put straight into dry. The first flush excluding those came to ~43.5g wet.

Theres so much info in the thread. Just incase you hadn't found it (someone needed to point it out to me!) there is a 'search this thread' feature right at the bottom of the page!

These are beautiful! I noticed you pulled away some of the substrate when harvesting. Does it affect much the next flushes?

lol, that was pretty much down to laziness, my scissors were all the way over on the other side of the room! in reality it took up very little of the casing. I'm waiting on the second flush now, but not too fussed about it as I have other pots almost ready to go into the FC. Interestingly the stems and stumps aren't blueing much. I know blueing isn't a sign of potency, so it's just a point of curiosity more than anything.

no i sure dont. i only place the tray in after casing. i allow colonization/recovery to take place at room temp which is around 75deg f in the tray but with the dome on it i use binder clips to fasten it on like shown
then once its 100% colonized/recovered il case it and place in the fc

A tip that helped me harvest pans cleanly was that they will snap off at the base if you push them down and to the side. Hard to explain but it's easier than scissors and cleaner than pulling the casing out. It doesn't always work but it helps to avoid some disruption of the casing.
I never thought I'd miss harvesting pans, but I've been harvesting a lot of tamps lately and they have been even worse than pans. They grow in clusters and don't snap off. It's super frustrating to harvest them with all the casing that comes up with them.

So these are pretty much my only options for manure soil locally. Which would you guys recommend?
I tried to find ingredients but for some reason none of the manure soils have ingredients listed.
Found the SDS for the EB Stone steer manure

Can you see inside them? I've heard some of these manures can contain a lot of woodchip or be very 'soily'

I’d go with the cow one but that’s solely based on me using steer compost.
This is how mine looks.

Couple jars I got going. Nec-d, wild pan cyan(Guadalajara it was found in a town called Zapodan so that is what I will be referring to it as from now on) from wild print and Ho Kipa (Hawaiian) I’m sure this has been done but some of the grain was amended with some horse manure pellets. It’s really just an experiment mainly based on the idea that the mycelium creates enzymes to digest that manure and if I’m giving it a head start what will happen if anything. May just be as simple as providing it better protection but I’ve had some jars stall out temporarily when spawned (maybe 2-4 days occasionally) and I’m wondering if this could be at play.

Hey Explorer I inoculated some grain with a NecD culture only a day after yours and it has barely spread compared to yours. I’m on barley I think (maybe oats or a mix) so that’s one possibility for why mine is so much slower... or I inoculated with two or three wedges of agar. Did you happen to inoculate that millet with an LC or LI? Of course the rapid growth could be the horse pellets too...
