I don’t think they are very photogenic 🤣 I harvested these but as I did I got the sense they could have matured a while longer. That is obvious for the ones with caps not fully open but even the caps that were fully open they seemed very sturdy like they had some growing to do.
I took about 15 prints ...

Nice. They do look like Wild Coast. Specially that thick gnarly stripe under the caps (top right corner in the pic). I've noticed that in most of my Wild Coast fruits. Unfurtunatly this is the only Pic I have from that grow.

Yeah the top of the stipe was similar and coloring was similar too (but a little browner). The caps were not as rounded as my lost coast though. I’ll have to see what the second flush looks like and also try another germination to get a sense of the range of phenotypes.
Found more pics.

If they're fresh I'm in. If they're over 6 months old I'm afraid they might not germinate (had this negative experience before).

Is this a common issue with panaeolus?

Oh, that's interesting... I've been banging my head against a wall trying to get pans to fruit all year. Ended up building a Martha and everything, but even when I finally thought I got the conditions dialed in, still nothing. Would make sense if old spores could be to blame - got them a year ago or more, and the past few months I've been seeing pretty weak growth now that I think of it, and not even a pin to show for it.

@durgin, pan cyans? The print's age should be fine.
I Kno most like to case and fruit with pans but I always let my casing colonize about 25% before I fruit. After this I usually see pins in less than a week.
With the bottles I use, I just case and let them sit with their lids on for a day or two until I see plenty of myc breaking through the casing. Next thing ya know, pins
All using this tek. Even works for trays if you want to cover it with foil for a day or two after case.

i dont know exact dim but these trays
these were pics from the previous grow as i only took a cpl shots from the current and none that really show the size of the trays and besides how many pics do i need if the same thing🤷🏼 but they are the trays for the large propagation domes. i know for a facf they r exactly 2.0 inches deep and if i had to guess id say 12 -15 inches wide and 24-28 inches long
these were the only shots of the last tray i took
usually when i run these between both fcs and both the same trays with 3 flushes per tray i usually average around 150-185 dried. and that njmber is very consistant. although some trays at times will be better and denser than others but it seems to all even out in the end.

Holy cow! With the speed of these and that type of harvest weight, I'd probably never have to eat a cube again!
I'd be curious to see what your 3rd flushes look like...
