can't breathe, can't see, and i get wet. also with the door open and the fogger being controlled by a humidity controller, it won't stop running until the door is closed and it reaches the right RH%.

Heck yeah dude, it works great. I just harvested my first flush of Ps. Tampanensis Galindoi fruits on Sunday that I have in it and they went absolutely bonkers.

Fair enough, that is some serious foggage it sounds like! The only thing I found that is off until the countdown completes and then defaults to on is pretty spendy: https://www.mcmaster.com/1302T62/
Perhaps you could just use a normal 24 hour wall timer with the spin dial and spin it to the beginning of a short off window when you want it. Something like this with 1 pin down for 15 minutes off. https://www.amazon.com/Century-Plug-Mechanical-Timer-Grounded/dp/B00MVFF59S/
If you didn't check on a particular day it would have that window every 24 hours, but they can probably survive 15 mins without fog.

you are a genius! that's a great idea... 23 hr 45 min on, 15 min off, then just spin the dial to the off position when i want to open the FC. such a simple solution. i was already researching how to set up an arduino to do the same thing but i think i'll just buy a $10 timer 5 for you

that's what i've been doing until last night when i forgot to plug it back in. i woke up and everything got fried overnight. using a timer will prevent that from happening in the future. it takes out the human error part of the equation, and i have a lot of human error

Lol I think we’ve all done that or let it run dry. Once you ruin an awesome pinset you won’t forget anymore.

well this is actually the second time i've done it. the first time i remembered an hour later and plugged it back in. but i'm not taking any chances in the future. i think this timer will work. i just set it up and tried it out. i don't even have to spin the dial, i just lift one of the 15 min sticks and then push it down when i'm done.

Guys! Anyone knows or could take a guess what this contam could be? This is from a pan WC agar that caught my attention because it was rhizo. Like really rhizomorphic as I never saw on Panaeolus, so I threw it on grain just to see what could happen and this is the result:
Could it be something of the cobweb family? I've had it happen also in some of my cubes jars in the past. The particular thing is that in spite they ride along the mycelium, the mycelium indeed colonized the agar in the healthy standard time You can see if you pay attention that there is healthy mycelium under that contamination. I'll definitely throw it anyways

There all strong and about the same. Depends on environmental factors after that mostly I think. Probably depends on the culture as well but all pan cyans and cambos about 1g =4-5g cubes but then again the experience is completely different so it’s like comparing oranges to apples

That’s definitely some kind of mold, also bacteria popping up underneath.
Yeah aside from cincts I don’t think you’ll be able to tell much difference between pans.
