those do kinda have my jambo look to them. but id say that your problem could very well  be mostly genetic but slightly environmental. the overlay certainly dont help either but its not a deal breaker. but that casing looks off to me and if your using a coir and verm or a straight verm casing i think that right there may be your biggest culprit. the overall look and color of your fruits seem healthy so your environmental conditions are fairly close. id try and see if you can give some more air/fae but dont lose or sacrifice any humidity tho. what kind of temps do you have? you should really try to hold that 78 deg f mark if you can.

Thank you JCM..
Yeah, i tried straight verm as casing.. but maybe thats the problem.. weird, huh? Im having exactly 76F now, and it doesnt go much above or below that, just constant 76.. Will try open some of the holes to see if there is any difference..

But it doesnt look too you like a contam problem then? So it should be safe to consume those?

Hey guys
So for fruiting, I've got a tub, humidifier & a fan

The humidifier fills the tub with mist in about 2 minutes and mist starts escaping at around 2 minutes 30 seconds (+-)

The fan blows all this mist out of the tub with in 1 minute

The only time I've got (& could find) only do 15 minute intervals

I use to have these set up in a tent for cubs with 15 minutes on 15 off for the humidifier and the fan on constantly

Any advice maybe?

That is just an iPhone with a lot of good light. =)

My wife got me a nice camera though... first one in my whole life. Now I have to figure out how to use it! FujiFilm X-A7 24.2 MP Mirrorless Digital Camera... maybe by next year this time I'll have my bad ass photo chops down a bit. =)

Haven't bought a new laptop in 10+ years, buying new computer gear is a
wast of money if you're not gaming, video editing or doing other high
end stuff.

HP Elitebooks, Lenovo Thinkpads and Dell XPS are good quality machines,
just buy the best model from 3-5 years ago, plenty of power for basic
tasks like music, photos and shroomery. Look for ex-lease gear.

I fried the pins from the first part of the fifth flush, so this is 5 2.0. Looks like it might be about to mold though.

Has anybody ever let pan spawn consolidate before spawning? This shoebox is the last of my quart of Aussie spawn which is like two months since 100% and it’s moving many times quicker than the others did. The first ones took 8-10 days til I felt good casing them and this one is 3.5 days, already colonized the surface, and has these big myc spots forming already.

ya hear ya on computers bein a waste of $$ for my needs. which is exactly why i havent even had one these last few years. with the exception of my pictures i can do everything on my phone. but as far as gaming goes im still a xbox guy although playstation is lookin like the better these days. ive never played anything on pc tho. besides i dont even hardly play many games much anymore.

aka it wont hurt and it wont do any good in my experience. i do however like to let my bulk consolidate for a cpl days after 100% tho. ive found most overlay issues are caused by the substrate not being colonized completely throughout the entire sub and letting that take a lil extra time to consolidate has really made a difference there.

Definitely don't waste your money on a MacBook. I own a lawncare and landscaping business so I needed one to sync to my iPad to access all my shit at home/in the truck/on site/at customers dinner tables. What a fucking waste of money (at least what I use it for). For $600 you can get a nice laptop, or a damn nice (non-gaming) PC.

Anyway, those are some beautiful pics! I do have to ask though - whats the deal with the gnats? As a homebrewer I know fruit flies will ruin a batch of beer. Do the gnats eat/destroy the fruits somehow or are they just a nuisance? Cheers, mates!

Did anyone of you ever consider using an Arduino to control your fruiting chambers? Because I have a Pan FC plan in mind that would use just that.

I usually wait until the gills start to really drop out from under them, but you can go by color pretty well too. They tend to lighten significantly when they’re mature.

It blew me away the first couple grows, at some stages there’s noticeable growth every few hours.

What's wild to me is the pinset is just continuous. Like the ones that I expected to grow grew, but the pins that must be lying beneath the casing is mind boggling. This must how good cultivators must feel when they're getting canopies lol
