I think cloneufc did exactly that a few times. His pinsets weren’t the best tho.

The Aussie has more normal looking pins now, still some odd ones but its looking promising for at least some good clone material if not a great flush.

These are much slower than the other ones I’ve had.

The current state of my first pan adventure:

Got five of these little take away tubs. Pan cyan spores -> agar -> rye -> straw/hpoo pellets/verm/gypsum. Spawned about a week ago. I messed up the measurements so the spawn to sub ratio is way off.
What can I expect from grain heavy grows?

Two mini-monos made from Baba Yaga's post a while back. Again Pan cyan spores -> agar -> rye -> straw/hpoo pellets/verm/gypsum. I fee like the spawn:sub ratio is better here. They are looking better than the take away tubs. Spawned four days ago.

LC corner. All LME broth, 1g LME to 500ml water. Three pan cyan, two pan cambo.

Two little expriment pots. Pan cambo spores -> agar -> straw/hpoo pellets/verm/gypsum. I think they were done three-four days ago.
Don't tease me about my subs. It all got a bit out of hand trying to figure out the best way to measure and prep the Hpoo pellets. I've found a source of well-rotten horse manure now. So will hopefully prep a sub that actually follows a real tek to the T in the coming week. Will pour my remaining LCs into it.
All I really want from the above pics is to make a print or two so I can reset my pan attempts with actually manure. My expectations are low!
Edit:

I've also got like 8 of these jars on the go. Hpoo pellets/straw/verm/gypsum nocd with LC. However, I think I used way too much of the pellest and didn't prep them well as it was my first go. Plus I'm certain I crammed the jars too tight. I nocd them on the 21st and they are now starting to show some ok signs of growth. But again, not holding my breath.

Why dont cyans respond well to high grain content? Why more poo over grain?

To be honest you're asking the wrong guy. This first go at pans snowballed out of my control very fast, lol. It all got a bit franken-teky.
I got confused used the poo pellets as most of the current pan teks use a lot of manure:straw. However, it seems pellets are considered up to 10X stronger than manure (citation needed and would love others to weigh in on this) so it's suggested you use them at a max of 10% of your sub. Nordel seems to have got a good grow with them though, which has given me some hope.

My bits and bobs for a jcm style FC arrive tomorrow, got 2 nice t1's that just need to grow out a little more, a bale of hay and 60l litres of manure. Money has been spent! I'm committed now
Quickie tho, how much calcium carbonate would you roughly use for 2quarts of casing? 50/50 peat moss and verm.

Just a quick addition to my post with the pics. In my mind the sub is going to be fully colonised somewhere around the 10 day mark. Going off of JOC and stonesun who both do rye to sub.
If they colonise before that is there any harm in leaving them for an extra day or two? From what I've read casing too early seems to result in the casing being taken over. But there doesn't seem to be much said about any negative impacts of leaving the sub a bit longer.

Guys, I thought my third flush of the Cyan clone would be around 4g. I was WRONG! It landed at 6.3g dry! That's the largest single flush of Cyans I've ever had, my big tub's first flush was 6g. It's also strange that it produced the most on the last flush. Must be the insane pinset.
Sure, the first grow I did (first 2 containers) I haven't used proper spawn - sterilized grain PLUS the substrate together (then spawned to more sub), and probably let it consolidate way too much before spawning, but still.
All in all, this puts me at around 14.5g dry from that small container, containing half a liter of spawn and probably another half a liter of substrate. This is insane. There's no way in hell Cubes could ever produce that much, because that would have to be nearly 60g from half liter of spawn. Lol.
I love my Pans!

Nice Harvest Adas!
I have a tray of jcm’s pan Jambo and it seems to have stalled. It has looked like this for a week. Nothing looks or smells bad otherwise. I think I’m going to case it anyway and take my chances... any thoughts?

That’s not a good sign but might as well give it a shot right. That’s how I usually operate anyway.
The Aussie pins are exploding now.

Now if I can get some height on these guys I’ll be ok. So far they kinda look like 4th flush shorties I got from wild coast.
I’m liking the super white mature color too.

Is the sub overly wet? Or too dry? Usually when a tray stalls it’s for that reason or contams

hey whats up psilo 😃😃 in the pics it almost looks as if the sub is a lil on the wet side and maybe thats preventing it from colonizing throughout the entire substrate. id try up that fae a bit and put it back to colonize a lil bit longer and then case and place in the fc and see what happens.

Aka, way better looking than my last Aussie attempt. Mine came in skinny like tamps and were an inch tall or so.
