Hello all!
I was hoping someone could help me verify if this looks like pan cambodginiensis mycelium. First pan grow.

Thank you!

Looks healthy enough to me. Why do you fill your jars so little? It seems like there isn't even a pint of grains in there.

That was the first time I did rye I was hoping for fast growth. Its now about 2 quatrs of rye spawn. I g2g anyways thought it looked good.
And my oats took way to long last time to colinize and a few didn't even colinize all the way after about a month and a half so figured that I would try some g2gs with pans to have more then enoygh of these bad boys.

My pans are going ridiculously slow as well. Dunno WTF is wrong with them, they are supposed to be faster than cubes. The jars I inoculated with cubes were all spawned yesterday. It's funny, the sandoze mycelium seemed weird compared to the jamaican but the jamaica is obviously having trouble colonizing. Some of the grains barely even recovered from the shake.

They don't. At least that's what most people experienced. Some say shaking is fine for them so I thought I should give it a go. Probably gonna skip the shake when I inoculate more grains with pans.

that's old info, shake shake shake! you can see a shift from all those old threads about pans (4+yrs) not like being shaken or misted to people saying yeah the myc is more fragile but healthy myc still recovers and with great FAE you can still mist the caps and it wont matter because they'll dry quickly enough.

Yeah I've had a few were the myc just looked thin. Like grey almost no color to it or brightness. I know pan myc is whispy but these things just don't look healthy some times
