Cased and waiting to fruit.  :smile2:
Fruiting them on 20 - 21 Celsius should be fine right?

I'm interested in seeing if it works.
I haven't tried it. But to my knowledge you need around 25C for fruits:shrug:

Wait for one of the pros for a better answer tho

Hope it works for you. That way I could fruit my gourmets at the same time without running my heater, but I doubt you have success unfortunately.  Just look were they grow naturally

That's cool to hear. I should be able to keep fruiting temps 21-24 with my current setup. If it flops then I'll look into ways of keeping things warmer.

I've finally got some decent looking agar on the go. Will post pics for input at the weekend.

Aussie doing its thing coming up on two days in. Myc is much thinner than with the jambos.

It’s slower than the other ones I’ve run but it could just be the hydration is off on the manure a little.

Looks very much good indeed A.k.a !

Pinning my my first ever tray ... intensifies ... there are hundreds of knots that look healthy (not visible with my old camera). If they mature I might be able to have enough together to ride snake next weekend, lol.

What's up with the spores though ? They do not seem to have any spores ? What could be the reason for that ?

But it being my first pan project I am quite happy so far. I learned to pasteurize manure substrate and casing with no mold so far, build a JMC style chamber, learning to dial it all in. All in all a success I hope.

I also found a possible solution for only having one JCM style fruiting chamber with several trays in different stages:

I had this other tray in my chamber which didn't seem to pin ... so I took it out of the chamber the other day, put it outsize with a clean cloth over it and let the casing dry out very much indeed and then watered it really good again and put it back in the JCM-box and now it seems to show a much more even set of knots. If it continues like that I might join the canopy club quite soon with some luck.

Looks like you’ll have enough to at least see what pans are about there.

Letting the tray sit for a couple days and then soaking it has definitely created good pinsets for me before.

I had a old Jamaica MS syringe laying around and wanted to do something with it so i knocked a few pint jars up and did 2 plates.
I have a lot plates now from the initial 2 germination plates and can't decide which sectors to put to grain. :facepalm3:

I'll update with anything worthy.

I'm wondering if Pan bisporus fruits at lower temperatures than other more tropical species. I know they can be found in more temperate climates, however I've always been under the impression that all pans like it quite warm.

And those trays were pooling with water cuz the room temps were lower than the FC and all the condensation was raining down into them. But they didn't mind that at all.

Bisporus grows even in Fall for me. Actually it likes the weather more because in summer everything dries out so fast.

Yesss!! This is awesome. The last time I grew Pans I did cambos, but I needed to make a warm closet for them to fruit in. I'd like to grow more, but don't really want to have to build something special for them. Knowing that Pan. bisporus can fruit in lower temps is huge.
