So, I think/hope my agar worries are unfounded. I went to fruit my pan-cakes today, and they smelled like almond, no sign of contam yet. Hope this works!

6 days in, and no myc coming through the casing. It still smells of almond, and no visible contam (or anything, just the casing). It's been cooler here, like 70-74. Is that too cool for it to grow into the casing?

Mine have been smaller tubs inside a big tub with fog fed under a plastic sheet.

Definitely doable to rig up a workable fc.

#MeToo.

Broke down in March to move to a new spot just as I was expanding my first pan culture to grain. Needless to say, that all got tossed... except some plates I kept stored.
Finally getting time enough to set it all back up and pick up where I left off...

As cultivating goes seems like there is always something that goes wrong my first pan cy clone grow was a success but after the first big flush my fogger fan crapped out  :wow: and wrecked my second big pin set  :hissyfit:

After a lot of fussing and unsuccessful jerry rigging, my replacement fan came in the mail.

By then I had lost a trey but my other two bounced back  :headbanger:
Im about to pull the plug on this grow... yielded 115 dry grams so I'm stocked up!!
Next up...been working on some woodlovers to populate some outdoor patches this winter.

Here are some of those weird pan cyan plates I mentioned. Is this age, contam, neither, both? These were transfers from what looked like good wispy growth.

Should I bother making another transfer from these or just restart?

We have had some wild temperature swings, and that's made my cubes go fluffy and weird before. I generally have had good success with my agar work with cubes/cyans/azures, isolating away from contam and rarely getting environmental contam on the plate. But I'm new to pans and could use some help.
