A single tray of PHV in the FC. Starting some bags of Aussie tonight.
The weather has changed so I hope my luck has as well.

Just put huasteca in a recovery tray. inoculated bulk bags of PHV and wild central Florida cyan. Got some more bags about 50% with some bisporus as well. Been working on a lot of other exotics and mexicanas so it will be nice to jump back on the Pan Wagon... budump chhh

I did 1.5-2h all the time in the past with no problem at all. Only when switch to bigger project the problem appear constantly.

Maybe cold spots or sterile spots in the sub somewhere. When I’m doing a lot of sub I’ll make sometimes 4-5 mycobags individually measured for trays and pasteurize them all. Then just check center in each one. Then when I’m ready to spawn I crack the jar in the sab and pour it in the bag. Then seal and mix. That way nothing is done in open air.

i always spawn in open air, that's the beauty of a properly pasteurized sub.
in other news, just shook my grain jars to redistribute the mycelium a few days ago. looks like the jars are exploding with mycelium.
i'm actually pleasantly surprised the rdu is just starting to take off too. considering both agar wedges got stuck to the lid at the top of the jar.

My RDU were all very small aswell
Currently I've my best ever Pan pinset (again, last grow was the same ) With print of Pan Alabama from Asura
Really hope this flush matures. The fruits so far is a bit smaller than I'm use too. I hope it might be because there is a lot more fruits. So that's why they are thinner.
Any comments on if these look like they will fully mature?

Hey asura I was wondering how do you keep your bulk bags. I have about ten and I usually keep them in a trunk with the lid open and a tote in the bottom to keep them raised but they where a bit too close to each other after I was rearranging some things and they got pretty hot and a lot of them haven’t recovered. Had it happen on the shelf too. Think what I’m gonna have to do is get a fan just for the bags on the shelf because they can get so hot after just a couple hours.

I’m thinking a good thing too would be to get those metal hangers with clips and then hang them up in the closet. I could probably do two to a hanger... I don’t know if it could hold the weight and it would be more expensive than a fan so Nevermind probably wouldn’t hold the weight either

I have a closet with a bunch of shelves in it. I just throw the bags in there. I haven't had a problem with them getting too hot. IR thermometer says they are 75F or so.

Your bags don’t get hot when there colonizing? Hmm mine always do mostly in the beginning when it’s using all its energy to create mycelium and if the bags are too close together they can really heat up and over heat the myc.

Yeah they do get hot. My house is about 70F at all times. The bags are running 5-6 degrees hotter. I space my bags. I don't have them packed together.

2nd try now and did pan cakes this time... and I think I let the casing dry out too many times, which- combined with insane temperature swings causing condensation on the sides of my half pints- appears to be causing blobby derps to grow on the sides... Can't wait to wire my cabin up properly so I can have a proper fruiting environment for these. Been putting the roof on the second story trying to beat the snow and not enough hands to juggle both but fuuuuccck it's frustrating failing twice now. Right in the feels. Might still get fruits but doubtful. Back to the drawing board. Figured I'd share my new failure.

They look good and they will mature but first they need to get taller.

Can someone tell me what is in this jar(I’m talking about the white speck looking shit. This is the only jar I have this in for all my pan jars but it’a also the only jar from that particular culture I have going. I know it’s something maybe rode along with the mycelium in the agar stage possibly. Going outside either way guess it doesn’t matter but still curious if anyone knows.

I used JCM'S fruiting chamber for these. I saw people grow them in sgfc but not in monotub. Cambodginensis seem to be doing well in a monotub set-up. I haven't tried it yet...
