heres a recap
1st flushes
2nd flushes

3rd flushes
4th flushes
5th flushes
6th flush
these were the majority of the fruits that were mostly harvested at one time but all throughout i was choppin shit down. i havent gotten a final weight yet il add whats in the dehydrator to the total tom mornin but i should be just around 110-115 im guessin. its not the 185 or the 176 i had the last cpl jambo grows but it still ended up being a decent lil grow all issues in the begining considered🤷🏼

Happy to contribute something interesting here. Life got in the way today so I am just catching up now. Unfortunately I don't have a contact for the vendor these Texas "rednecks" came from, but it wasn't a trusted source. I've taken about a dozen spore prints in case an analysis is in order. And yes every single fruit has the red spores.

I think I may have killed my last two trays... I cased them and put them in the new set up. I set the aquarium heater to ninety because the last heater kept the air at about 81 at that setting. I also failed to set up the bubbler in there Well I checked a couple days later and it was pretty hot in there and the myc had not moved up into the casing one tiny bit. Ninety seems too low to have cooked them (they were not sitting in the water) but something finished them off...

well psilo i keep my internal fc temp at 77-80 never over 81.also all the air stones that make all those bubbles is what gives you your humidity and constant fae being pumped in from the bottom and rising up thru the holes in the top. so thats the most important part of the fc and that temp combined with no air source like that prolly suffocated it and cooked it at the same time. also u def want your trays sitting on a rack of some sort a few inches above the water. and lastly i hardly ever get growth come up thru my casings. once in a while il have a few spots peek thru the cracks so to say but gor the most part you cant see any nyc kn the casing at all.

Thanks for the advice JCM I’ll put my air stones back in there and drop the temperature.

jcm: how do you avoid crazy condensation on the underside of your FC lid? I'm testing mine and after a few hours it starts collecting and dripping everywhere, including where the trays would sit.
Room is at 75 °F. Obv if I let the room get to FC temp the condensation would stop, but I don't really want it to be tropical in there. And you clearly don't do this either, or you wouldn't need the aquarium heater in the bottom.

its not condensation either its actually that humid in there. when there is fruits in there youl see how they glisten when u open it up. u will always have lil beads of moisture on the lid but they will not be dripping. the tray on the rack will block that from happening.

also the heater in the bottom heats the water enough to when the air comes up after being pumped thru the warm water it keeps the temp in the fc in the golden 77-79 deg area on a constant basis and its so humid in there that anything sitting in there will just glisten with moisture but not be soaked. the heater and the all those airstones running 24/7 is what makes it work so u dont wnna not use the heater. however ur gnna have to play with the temp settings on ur heater to make it to where the temp in the air of the fc is the 77-79 never above 80 tho when u get warmer than that you can start running into problems. so i have noticed. but just play with it and get it dialed in to your environment and u should b good

I think I may have found the cause of previous failures. Got a pH tester and found the casing pH to be around 5.5 (lime was added but I guess not enough). litmus paper wasn't to good of a read apparently. Could such an acidic casing soil cause a tray to fail?

Outdoor Bisporus vs. indoor Cyan. 1.15g is the fresh weight, y'all think that's decent for a Pan?

Yeah I'm using a lid from an old SGFC. Covered with 1/4" holes on a ~2" square pitch. It's def condensing and dripping in there... the top of my rack is solid and water is making a puddle as it drips.
(I'm planning to drill holes in the rack later if needed, but it shouldn't be necessary because the trays will block the same area anyway.)
It also drips on my humidity probe and causes that to stop working. That's not a huge deal though, just annoying.
