This RDU that we are all growing out now is trop. But not all "RDU" is trop...as far as I know. Cyans drop red spores sometimes under some unknown condition.
Don't know funchky's source so no one can say that is trop for sure.

To me, tropicalis seems like bisporus (2 basidia) but with a cyans-like phenotype. Tropicalis should look the exact same as cyans and you would only be able to tell the difference using a microscope.

Trop should be indistinguishable from cyans with the naked eye.
I gave one of those red hawaiians to jake and another to bw86. I tried to run them myself and they were dog shit. I think Blue Helix has postulated that the red spores might be due to some kind of environmental stress. But who knows...if these trops always drop red spores it's genetic in this case.

Hey boiz, I have these Cyans growing. The big one was a clear clone candidate, but then I've noticed the cracked stem. I'm just waiting now for the head to fall off. :/
Should I clone anyway or wait for fruits from my bigger tub???

They are the ones from Florida. Same ones you have received from the guy. I fruit them with a low-tek method, maybe that's why?

Alright, thanks as always for the info jcm. I hope to see some pics lol. I wonder why these things decide to make odd colored spores. I also wanna know what gives spores their color, but I'm not gonna waste space in this thread I'll just have to Google

Yeah looks like they’re just a little bit dry to me but definitely clone the big one

Did you track the total weight on those? Wonder what BE was for these. Seems like a strong fruiter.
