Overall I'm happy with the results but the fruits are a bit on the small side. I'm thinking it could be genetics but I also quit watering when pins showed up. Could this have contributed to their smaller size? How often are you guys hand watering as the fruits mature?

those look good too and you really need to be cloning a few of those. also you could let some of them go longer yet which is often how pans fruit anyway. they dont always flush even and at the same time like cubes will do. they more so just kinda are always in a continual flush if that makes sense to ya. but i see a few fruits that are screaming clone me and you really should. a good clone will give you much better grows. and if you choose to really dial it in by making a fuck load of transfers and fruiting all of them out you can end up with a beast of a culture. if its not too late get some clones goin but good job i know my first pan grow looked nothing like that lol

Good to know, I was expecting bigger caps but I got plenty of small prints so I am content. Going to try a dry gram when I go camping in a couple weeks, can't wait!

Thanks for the tips, I have never gotten into cloning so I will give that a try! Already harvested most of these so hopefully a nice big fruit will pop up soon so I can take a tissue sample

Thanks man. Those are pan cyans and the print was labeled Beulah. A gift from MaryFairchild.

I dunno, they look pretty normal sized. Some of the grows here get freakish
in size...but that's not really normal I would say. Beautiful grow, man

Day 4. How do these look? Are they ready? Some gills flipped and split. Gills are also reddish but no spores that I can see. A few caps blueing slightly in the back. Should I wait another day?

A lot of those look ready. Time to begin the ten day constant pan harvest.

It took me a while to realize that it’s hard to judge size in pictures. I couldn’t figure out how I was getting the right weight per tub but my mushrooms were way smaller than everybody else’s. After a few grows I realized a lot of the tubs people post are like 18 inches long and not twice that like I had been thinking.

That’s mostly with cubes though but it takes quite a few pans to make up a dose normally. The first time I gave a friend a tangle of dried pans he thought I’d handed him a little ball of string

the ones that are flattened and flipped are well ready as far as when to harvest them that all just depends on what your wanting to do. like if im wanting to print then im taking them right before they really start dumpin spores if im not printing il let them flatten out more and take on a more pale colour but yet il still pull then b4 they blow their load all over

Aka, this is the first I've ever seen pans and that was my first reaction. I couldn't believe how small they are. I was hoping to get a single dose. Maybe there will be some extra.

Thanks JCM. I'm hoping to get some a few spore prints out of them. Do the gills change from red to black when they are ready to drop?

Supposed to be Texas, but not entirely confident in the source. The gills have a reddish hue

From the pics it does appear to have a red or brown hue but it could be lighting... possibly. Interesting

Very hard to tell. Looks more of an orange to red to me but I've never seen either specimen in person. Does foenisecii bruise blue?
