That sounds like a good fix. My toughest thing was figuring out the balance between how thick the fogger setting was and how long it stayed on with the ac going.

Hereigrow, how do you have your fogger set? Like what is the low and high range on the controller?

It doesn't have a digital dial just a little knob. I had it on max originally cause I had been using it for the martha, apparently that's overkill for the FC 🤷♂️
I sat in the lab for like 2hrs watching the FC trying to dial it in this morning and I think I've got it about right now. The fogger is set to maybe 1/8th of the way up. The fan is on a speed controller as well turned down as low as I can get it. And the fan is on a timer to cycle on for 40 seconds then off for 10. The rh chills around 94% and drops to about 88/89% from the fan cycle. It gets back up to 94% within about 3 mins.

Once you get it dialed in it’s so nice.
I’ve got little marks on my fogger dial and two separate timers I switch out depending on how much airflow there’s gonna be for the day from the ac/fan.
Was if you that got the black reptile fogger with the clear tank? I know I saw somebody was using the same one I have.

Yes it does. But the full power setting is kinda nuts. I think I keep it at like 30% usually. Only issue I’ve had is if there’s a significant bend in the hose it’ll fill up with enough water to block the fog. Even after like an hour if I smoosh the hose shut a ton of water comes out.

hey asura my rdu bags are kicking ass andive got 2 bags for 1 tray in total darkness and 2 bags for the other tray that get ambient light around the clock for the most part and so far there is not one bit of noticeable difference that im seeing. i spawned them all on thurs and i mixed them this morning cuz they were already at the 50% mark in just 2 days. granted my bags are substantially smaller but thats still pretty damn fast and they look great so far. at this pace il expect to be casing on tues or wed.
but i an also running an experiement with my grain content. one tray im using a 1.5 ratio and the other is a 1.2 ratio. tray will contain one qt of rye berries and 5 qts of my sub. tray 2 will contain 2 qts of rye berries and 4 qts of my sub. since ive already proven to myself i can get by and still have decent yield with half the amount if grain i used before. this time i wanna run them side by side and see what differences if any i get in yield and and over all performance. but so far with the bags having different ratios and being kept in total darkness and then with ambient light i see absolutely zero difference so far.
just thought id let ya kno cuz i told ya i would👍

Yeah I had the same issues when using it with the martha. The trick I found is to keep it down low so any extra water just falls back down the tube.

@jcm, thanks for the update man. To be honest, I wasn't expecting the light issue to be a thing. I am going to run some more experiments though. I have 2 bags in the PC now with rye flour instead of grain. That's the one I'm really interested in.
Speaking of bags ya'll. I just scored a bunch of these Unicorn 3T (or T3) bags from Myers Mushrooms. These are the extra thick bags. The difference is night and day compared to my old bags. Very sturdy. Highly recommend them if you have been having trouble with flimsy ass bags.

How much did you add? I only ground up about 250g for about 7 quarts of sub (for two trays). It's about what I add in grain. I'm thinking it might not be enough but I decided to under play it rather than go overboard on the first try.

Day 3. Certainly not as impressive as you folks, but I'm happy so far with the first successful attempt.

This myc is very aggressive. 1 quart was added to several pounds of pasteurized aged (wet) hpoo/straw/verm. 3 days and almost fully colonized.

I did the same and added a little less mostly because I feel like it’s more a supplement overall than just an additive if that makes sense. The wheat bran I have is very flaky so in itself it really has a nice texture it’s not just a powder. I usually do my sub by weight pretty much everytime when I’m making pan sub but this time I did it more by volume since I was just making one bag. I did pint and a half of manure two pints of straw about 3/4 pint of straw pellets about 3/4 pint of wheat bran pint of verm. So I think that’s 24% hpoo 33% straw 12% straw pellets 16%verm 12% wheat bran And let’s say the last 3% was gypsum (And this is by volume) that’s why those measurements might look strange. Like I said I was only making one bag and the rest of the bags I made were regular bags.

Also the wheat bran was flaky so it was kinda fluffy and not just a bunch of compressed powder and this is by volume so it really wasn’t that much.
I like to make my subs kinda diverse
Feel like it just adds to the microbe count

My Rainbow Eucalyptus trays started to pin and then immediately abort. Now I have to figure out if they want more humidity or less. Goddamn.
