Also, the metabolite thing may not have anything to do with light. I just don't know. It could be that the bags are in a small closet with no air currents moving around Still an experiment at this point, but please tell me if you notice anything.
I've just been thinking about old methods that were discarded by cube growers as being unecessary...but do we know if they are unnecessary for all species? Who knows.

The jambos in my signature had very little light, I was really surprised how well they did. I kept putting off adding light saying oh I’ll do it when they start growing towards the side but it never happened.
The grain flour is probably a really good idea I bet that works great.

Checked in on my plates and it worked. Room temp didn't allow them to blow up but theres still some growth. Should I do another transfer to figure out whichbones I want to put on grain or should I just take these ones and put them into my grow box thats temp controlled and look for fast wispy growth and put that to grain? If you giys remember that is

I had planted this Goliath spent sub in the garden and this mushroom popped up so I thought it was just a really shitty looking pan but I took a print to agar to grain and now spawned it and it smells strongly of mexicana. Someone here said it looked like a mexicana and I believe your right.

take pics of ur plates and post first so we can tell u where n what to transfer just to b safe. u really wanna make sure ur selecting the right growth so ur not gnna be more prone to overlay or any other issues. pan myc def takes a few times before u get the eyes for it so to say and its just a good idea to be sure the first time is all👍👍

Alright so I finally got some good food grade 99% calcium carbonate. I made 2 qts of 50/50 peat/verm mix last night with 4 tsp of the calcium added. Steam Pasteurized at 160-170 for 2hr. I'm thinking about trying it out on one of the outside trays but I'm apprehensive.. I mean last time I used it outside I didn't use any calcium at all and it triched out obviously. I think maybe I'll use it on one and use my normal straw casing on the other to see the differences.
The FC trays are moving along much slower. It seems like they're having a tough time actually taking to the poo. I mixed it up pretty roughly when I spawned 🤦♂️ and suffocating them the first 2 days probably didn't help at all.. but they seem ok 🤷♂️
