All put together and running!

The fogger brings the humidity up to about 91% and cuts off and it holds there. The fan kicks on for 2min and brings the rh down to about 80-85% then cuts off for 10min but the fogger has the rh back up to 91% within a minute or two. It's looking like it's going to work well š¤š¤š¤

Once you have the tray in there and everything running for awhile it will probably stabilize the RH more and raise it as well. At least thatās what mine did. My had the same exact fluctuations and now with several trays in it just stays in the 90s. The trays themselves will put out a little humidity.

What casing should I use? Is peat/verm with a tsp of lime per cup of peat ok? The good ol' 50/50 mix?

I'll try turning the inkbird setting up to 95% instead of 90%. But when I did that in my martha it would never actually hit 95% so it just ran constantly.
And I've actually got 2 bags ready to go and some nice local hpoo. I'm about to make/steam pasteurize a mix of hpoo/verm and spawn that with a bit of lime pasteurized straw.

Yeah it seems like I'm topping out at 92.3%rh on the inkbird so set at 95% it would just run constantly. Maybe I'll try setting it at 92%? I'm not really sure how I can break that barrier, it's a closed system.

I took this picture from the bottom of the ziploc to get a better shot. I don't have a flow hood, so trying to fit my camera in my SAB with my plates is difficult.
Is this the type of mycelium formation I'm looking for? all the wispy criss crossy hyphal strands?
Oh, and there's shit on my lens i can't get off, that's what all the dark shit is

yeah, and unlike our homie I actually read and do my research before asking questions but with pans it seems awkward to me. Like I've been working with agar like 3 months and just within the last 2 weeks got actual plates that weren't straight contam. So I already don't know what looks good on agar and don't know how to differentiate between mold and mycelium yet. And there's no way I can get pictures on here until I get a flow hood, so im gonna keep relying on you, azura, aka, jake, blue helix heavily lol. Running to the store to get a tub for the fruiting chamber you invented? Idk if you invented it or perfected it but either way its what im going with. What did you use to build the rack the trays sit on above the water? Pvc?

Walmart sells little wire bathroom rack organizers. Idk where jcm got his but its the same principle id imagine, just something to hold the tray above the water

Iāve got those loop timers theyāre crucial, those are the ones that were weird to set up.
Iāve just got the fogger on a loop and Iāve never had to use a fan cuz thereās always a heater or ac running in the room depending on time of year.

I just move the plastic on the corners so thereās a tiny gap and thatās the fae control lol.

Will do. Hopefully gonna have jars in the next few weeks to show you. I'm really hoping to get well not only fruits but some good spore prints to share. These are from another person not associated with this site. He says they're pan cyan from the British Virgin Islands (he lives there). So I'm going to spread something different around and seeing if anyone has luck with em and confirming they're pan cyans and not cambos
