Are y’all guys shaking your grain jars at all with this species or just letting them grow?
I’ve got a couple that look like a shake won’t hurt but then I’ve got a couple that are tearing through the grain and I feel like I could just leave them. However if shaken they’d be done in a matter of days I’m sure...

I like to cut up the wedge I’m gonna use and then make kind of a shush kabob with the scalpel and then shake the jar after I put it in. Then usually I don’t have to shake because it grows so fast. As long as the agar pieces don’t stick to each other or the jar.

Yeah I was gone for a couple days and left the fog on a little high just in case, came back and the surface had puddles with pins all over lol. It had been pretty dry with no action before that so I’m assuming they thought it had rained and pinned again, cranked up the air and it’s back to normal now.
My first couple runs with pans I was super nervous about drowning them and kept having to come here and look at some of the pictures with actual puddles all over the surface to feel better. Now it’s the opposite, they don’t give a shit about being soaked for a minute but if it gets dry they’re gone.
I had been sterilizing until I finally got a thermometer, that’s the first sub I pasteurized and the only one to make it past 1.5 flushes. I just filled jars with manure compost and then added water and put them in my instant pot on keep warm. Once it hit 145 I left it for two hours and it was at 162 when I stopped.
I only used one jar and just recently opened the second one to use in a natalensis experiment. It was like a week old and smelled horrible so I figured it was no good but the myc ate it up.
When you guys let pasteurized sub age you make ge holes right? This was in a sealed jar so I thought for sure stuff had grown in it.

Wrecking bikes is the worst. I used to get slammed skating all day no problem but there’s nothing you can do to save yourself on a bike.

Was trying to beat my best time on a section.. that will teach me for trying to do my best

hey, does it looks like cyans or cambo?
I was confident I grew cyans, but during a few last trips a noticed suspicious potency with them. First trip was with 1.7g and it blast like x3-3.5 to cubes, but a few last more like x2 (which is more like cambo's should).\ I noticed a discussion about cyans/cambos in a new Blue Helix's thread and think may be it possible to clarify.

canbos r not only twice as good as cubes if that was the case ppl wouldnt bother growing them theyd just grow PE i cant tell the difference between my cambos or my cyans. i think u just grew weaker mushrooms its a matter of genetics most likely and not a matter of species

The next round of spawn bags are looking good. Gotta start planning for the next run.
Interestingly this slower clone culture seems to still be holding close to 12 days to full colonization with a2g and my spawn bag mix of oats/straw/verm/manure. Mixed at days 4 and 9. I may mix one more time tonight or tomorrow to finish them off but I'm not sure if it would be faster to just let them go from here. They really don't seem to mind frequent mixing much at all.
I think this time I'm gonna use one bag for several small/thin trays on the porch and the other bag for an attempt indoors again. I have a nice decked out martha I made with a fogger/fan/short cycle timer/passive hepa intake. I'm really not sure yet.

I guess flooding the whole thing was exactly what they wanted, this morning the surface was normal but I noticed there was a quarter inch of water in the bottom of the tub also. This is like flush 5 I guess, another 50ish grams. I had a bunch of side pins this time too.

They’re getting really short now. It’s blowing me away how well this sub has done.
