usually I pour water until my sub is submerged..
After 2-3hrs drain/tilt off water, then take the sub out of the tub, and place on a rack to "drip" excess.

Do I have to use hpoo? Or can I use store bought cow manure?
If I did have to use hpoo, does it have to be dried out? There are some horse stables where I live but I'd rather just go to the store rather than go ask for hpoo lol

People have done it without any poo at all, but I used store bought cow manure and straw for these...

store bought works fine but i prefer not to get manure from stables, get it from the field...aged dry manure works best

and yes i've done pans without manure, manure helps but is not needed

I have one jar from an older swipe of a pan brazil colonizing right now, and I'll probably do one or two more transfers before I lay the LAGM culture of the same down to grains.

I'm really excited to finally try out pans though. They've always been my favorite mushroom in terms of aesthetics.

They are really fun to grow! i'm doing some invitro grows this run for some prints but also some open air trays and mono's

how (if at all) do you modify a mono for pans compared to cubes?
