I just had my first proper Pan trip. 0.5g Bisporus did the job.
I can tell you right away that I LOVE it. If I had to describe it with 2 words it would be "Liquid Excellence". The visuals and amazing colors - I couldn't believe my eyes what they were doing. All the while feeling smooth as a cat and bathing in comfort. I dig it.
Do I rate them MUCH higher than Cubes? In terms of visuals yes, but in other aspects, probably not. I love any shrooms, and will be thankful for anything you throw at me, basically. But if I were to pick a "beginner trip species", it would be most likely Pans. Or a woodlover, which to me are comparably smooth and undemanding.
Also the feeling of love and connection to all like-minded people. My heart just opened so easily and naturally. And I feel like the whole WORLD should be reading this, not just you guys.
But as always, words can never do it justice. Grow on. Trip on. Love your fellow sentient beings.
Peace

Make my day to read that Adas! That's how I felt first time on Pans aswell  please update us with your second time.
I thought the comeup was so much more gentle. Barely any to none of the nausea.

The comeup was strange, I couldn't tell if it was my own nervousness or placebo, or actually the comeup already Literally I didn't know what was really happening. Also, nausea was non-existent. Just the typical burn in my stomach like I drank battery acid - common with all trips with any species.
Also they felt like the perfect balance between palyful and serious. The perfect plateau-middle ground. They show you their brilliance and excellent visuals and leave the rest up to your own imagination and adventure.
Pans also seem very level-headed. I was shocked how the visuals were BARELY affected by the music. 10-20% or so at most, while with Cubensis it is a complete union. But here despite the music they kept doing their own thing, I loved it Maybe with really powerful tracks it was like 40-60% but really that was because it captivated my attention. The only thing that really influenced the visuals was my attention and imagination.
Can't wait to try a full gram, what am I gonna tell you.

No man, I'm by NO MEANS shitting on Cubes. You definitely want to learn them as well! Pans are not INHERENTLY better, just different. For spiritual growth and insight? I would take Cubes ANY DAY, and I'm not even kidding. I haven't gotten as much growth and insight from any other species ever. Sure Pans are fun but it's not until you are FORCED to face your demons that you realize how powerful you really can be.
