These pinned on my balcony. We had like 1 rainy day and I don't water them often. My area experiences quite a bit of relatively dry wind. Yet they made it this far (sure they grew from far below the surface but you get the idea).
Hey Adas,
I've got not so bad results (nothing near the canopies from our friends Jake, Asura, JCM, etc.) from MS on a SGFC & Monotub.
But my mycelium is really slow compared to others Pan I've tried, same goes for pinning.

Bro, I don't know how you did that, but it's really encouraging. For me the myc is slow on agar and grain, but after spawning it's lightning fast.
Also, how the hell can they have droplets on the caps if you just used a monotub? I would think that would be impossible in such setup.

I just misted them like crazy, and opened the mono 2-4 times a day since I'm working from home for the moment Aside from the pins, they like it (you can see some aborts from the smallest fruits)
I used too dry manually the pins with some paper toilet at the beginning
They're doing well on SGFC too
P.S : I'm using a MistKing from a previous pet project

Hey guys, just wondering when I should harvest these guys? I've never had a tray like this lol. They have all lightened up a lot in color and some of them have unfurled their caps. Theres still a lot with caps not really open yet. I'm thinking tomorrow morning? Once they all look like the middle pic?

Thanks man, I'm so happy with this tray! This is my first one I'd actually call a success. I think I will actually do like you say and watch them close and take them once they open fully cause I want to print everything I can. I definitely plan on doing a couple clones, this is just an nice agar isolate from a print from Asura.

That outdoor grow is nice did you keep the lid on during it?
So I just fired up the tent and took off the lids after 24 with there casing on 1 gcfl 2 tropicalis 1 jalisco (gonna see how it fairs in there) The RH fluctuates between 80% - 97% whenever the fan kicks on it dips and I have that humidifier in the bottom to stabilize the humidity when the fan dips until I get a better fogger( thing looked so Much bigger in the picture on amazon) The fog seems to be pulling evenly though I don’t think I’ll have to do much of anything till the pins show at least. Also I adjusted the hose so it wouldn’t collect water and clog when I’m not looking. Had that with my last GH
Also have pins on the Aussie mini mono now

During colonization I keep the lid on with like a half inch crack at one side. That's just so the top layer of straw doesn't dry out though. If I close them completely it gets too hot/stuffy in there and cobweb starts.
I actually just cased the Jamaica tray with straw and gave it a heavy watering. I did it a few days sooner than I did with this wild coast to try to solve this side fruit issue.
The thing is, the tray isn't even fully colonized. I can see lots of spots of manure that have no mycelium on them yet. I think once they are 100% and I give them a nice heavy watering things are really gonna get wild 🤞 at least that's what seemed to happen with the ground beds I did. And those produced for like a solid 6 weeks at least, they've just recently become overrun with inky cap contam mushrooms and no more pans come up 😭😭

Well that goes back to the straw casing not being soaked. It isn't actually wet to the core so I spray it and it drys out over the day. Its constantly drying and resetting, so the myc doesn't eat it readily and actually take hold. I could never see the myc on the surface of my ground beds, the fruits always spindled up through the straw from like an inch or 2 down. I really don't think its gonna be a major issue. And if it is I'll just patch with more straw and keep spray less 🤷♂️
