I mean mini humidifiers operate in the same way there is an ultrasonic disc that sits in a water bath with a float controlling the amount of water released on top of the disk the only difference is is I have a head that sits inside a float & the head is covered in those ultrasonic discs but it’s the same function

Do you know the IP rating? Can they withstand the super high humidity for a long period you think?
@Jake. Happen to remember the IP rating on your lights?

You inspired me. Been a long time coming for me to get LED strip instead. The light bulbs I got makes it to warm. Makes my plates have condensation in the winter. Plates are stored above my GH in a closet.
Hope they work out well.. thanks for the I inspiration!

Thank you
I'm watching them closely. What I noticed is, that some of the caps are turning a little dark. I'm quite sure, that these are Pan Texas and I think they might be getting too much moisture/too little FAE. What do you guys think:

I have already turned down RH a little bit, but I'm not sure if I should do something or just wait...

While my family was here I actually too the strip light and stuck it under my bed and put all my shoeboxes under there with it and out of the 12 boxes 8 started pinning. Not sure if there’s a direct correlation I mean 3 of the other four contamed also lol. But hey maybe there’s a good under the bed incognito tek there somewhere.

3 of those 8 that pinned under the bed were pan cyan gator. I have this in spawn run now. 3 tropicalis trays 1 cambo sandose 1 gulf coast central Florida which is one of my favorite on agar. And a super fast colonizer. 1 gator
Should be a full house. Hey Jake I was curious how many trays you run at one time in the tent it seems like you shouldn’t have too much or the moisture wouldn’t get sucked down evenly on each tray. Is that true. The trays are small enough I can put two in the jcm FC so that will just be four in the tent.
Just found this one YUNBO LED Strip Light Cool White 6000-6500K, 16.4ft/5M 300 Units Cuttable SMD 5050 Black PCB Board 12V Waterproof Flexible LED Tape Light for Home, Kitchen Cabinet, Living Room Lighting Decoration https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QLLMT4T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.dBfFbBXXGJYS This one is only 10$ same specs and waterproof

I'll do that. No, no water collecting. Just some tiny very tiny sprinkles on the side of the glass tray. But they evaporate quickly, after the fogger turns off.

like i said before tho you need to make sure your trays are up high enough from the waters surface. cuz when those bubbles come up n pop they kinda splash shit. so u wanna make sure thats not whats happening. beads of moisture from just the humidity are fine and my fruits love it. but im thinkin maybe ur over doing it with the fogger cuz i sont use one at all in mine

Ahh now I get it. No I'm not using a setup like yours, I'm using a martha with a fogger and a humidifier on the bottom.
My martha is small and has just two tiers and I think the humidifier on the bottom is too big for it. It blows humid air through the martha. Once I attached it to a timer (5 min on / 5 min off) the pins started coming...
Anyway, I think they're doing ok now. This is a picture from the inside (more clear). There are tiny pins all over the casing.

These took forever to get out, but now it seems they are in a hurry

Idk if that would work very well. I just used a reptile fogger and a timer.
