Ooh ooh, he posted not pans, can I post my not pans again? They are just starting to open up...

Luckily I've got some PanCam Florida just about colonized...if only I had somewhere to spawn it.

And those ones at the top look like they might abort soon, those little pins in that cluster. Looks to be enough FAE but not enough humidity, they're thirsty :stoned:

They look different than my PESA when mature,  and all other species were exotics.

Even checked for thai pics to compare,  because I was thinking the exact same thing lol

Potency seemed many factors greater,  but who knows..  MS

The colors off and the caps are attached to the stipe by a thick veil, not a characteristic of pans from what I know of anyways

I honestly think unless you have done pans before for sure, potency can't be a factor. Your brain could be telling you they are pans, giving you a harder trip.

If that's the case, I hope we don't ruin it for you.

I definitely was allowing that possibility too

This is the thread I was comparing fruits to:

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/15388439#15388439

Maybe I will have to let a few mature more than usual, and see if they flatten and turn-up a bit.  Compared the pics to this thread too:

https://mycotopia.net/topic/94463-pan-cambodiangoliath-grow-log/page-5?hl=goliath

I'd say my cap colour is a little light though.

Printing one atm

I would say it's more about that veil. Post some pictures of some mature ones. If they have a strong veil like that then they can't be Pans. I've personally never seen an active pan with much of a veil, if any.

If anything cap color is dark, Pan Cambo have brown pins that mature pale and cyans are almost always ghostly white from pin to fruit

But this is coming from a dude who's only spent countless hours combing through images and reading texts related to the pans, I'm obsessed with them, I've yet to grow them so I've never actually seen them in real life. One day...

There's always a chance I got my spawn transfer mixed up, or mislabeled.

None of my cyan spawn avoided contam,  but (what I thought was Thai) was very vigorous.  Maybe it's just more PESA looking different from a pan substrate  lol

Oh well .. see how my mexicana turns out

mostly mature 'cambo' cap printing:

Either way I left the top off the container to let them dry out a bit, can't hurt.
Or maybe that will be what kills them. Either way. I have so many containers full of them I'm not even worried. They're all small...maybe if I get full canopies on all of them I'll have enough for a trip. Silly spaghetti mushrooms, they remind me of enoki

I've been trolling the shroomery like a fly on the wall since I was 15, always too afraid to make an account and embarrass myself lol. Well now I'm in my mid twenties and have absolutely no shame left haha! So I figured fuck it might as well try to be part of the community I LOVE SO MUCH!!

Just nocc'd up two 1lb bags of red milo/white millet/rice hulls.
One with pan cambo the other with pan cyan Jamaican!
(Originally I had planned to do both bags pan cambo BUT I was a little drunk when ordering, and wrote a small love letter to the works in the comment section haha. So I got a cyan surprise!!)

I plan on spawning to 5lbs of h-poo/straw in either two minitubs or several small trays with casing

Question though should I spawn into my filter bags and let them colonize in the bag or just spawn into trays and let the spawn colonize the dung/straw trays in my FC then case?

PICS COMING SOON!!!

And for all you flame hungry shroomers looking for fresh meat... Be gentle... It's my first time...
