Hey yall, I've been cultivating cubes indoors, on and off for a couple years, and have been meaning to try my hand at Pans. Im in North GA with about 120 acres of wooded land, mixed with a couple fields.
I'm curious if it's recommended to try an indoor or outdoor grow for a first timer with these? I've been reading through different threads and am still trying to decide.

ya i been rooting gor the nec d to come back as a new sub species that jake will actually get to name. plus they look bad ass and he created them so i been waiting n waiting to hear about how the pcr comes back. but its all good i just thought maybe i missed a specific giveaway of them or something lol j was like wtf i been paying close attn for that how did i miss it lol im just glad to know im not goin crazy and missin shit lol
its all good tho jake i appreciate the fuck outta the phv n the red spore. the red is what im wantkng to do after these clones i got goin from the few decent bama fruits i got. so ima run those and then the red spore after these jams.
well il find out here in the next cpl hours if ima have to go out of town for work and most likely lose my good trays i got goin. as in bein able to print a ton. il have someone come n cut n dehydrate tho

Georgia you might have the right conditions to grow them outside. Hereigrow was doing well with that.
Might as well try both though right.

So I decided to actually pasteurize my sub today since I just got a thermometer finally and ran into a possible problem. I mixed it up hydrated to field cap and put it in an oven bag and into the pot of water.
However I managed to stick the probe through the sub and poke a hole in the bag and now the whole thing is flooded.
I can just squeeze it to field cap and use it right? The hot water won’t leech out all the stuff the mushrooms need?

JCM, once you got the red spores to fruit and print I would be extremely interested in trading some swabs or prints with you or the red spore I know you know the feeling when you really want to get your hands on some specific spores

The red spores are really hit or miss with their spore drops. some flushes don’t drop any and then others will give you some OK light Prints, But that’s why I’m always running out of that one. it’s definitely the hardest pan print to keep stocked. about as difficult to get continual consistent prints from As subtropicalis

Interesting Jake. I guess you haven't had time to find a clone that gives consistent good prints?

How’s this jar look? It’s wild coast. Thought it was really slow but I think something made it stall cuz it finished up real quick all of a sudden. About to spawn it to my first real pasteurized sub done with a thermometer instead of guessing.

It turned out better than I thought and it’s been at 100 for 4-5 days now with no sign of bacteria.

It definitely looked different from the jam myc but it’s not marshmallowy so hopefully it works out.
You find out if you have to leave your trays yet?

Yesterday I tossed out my last tray from the Beulah grow so that’s officially over.
And I officially welcomed in the new grow of the Cambo Sandose

Day 5 after casing. Only a few pins so far, hopefully it starts filling out more today

I’m getting a lot of aborts. The FC is gonna take a lot more dialing in than I thought. They are pinning now but the pins die off pretty soon after. Either the fogger or the fan can’t figure out which. Plus I think the fact that there in shoeboxes rather than trays plays a big role, bad choice on my part. Oh well I’ll get this thing down if it ******* kills me I swear.
