Bwahaha, it was meant more as a sentiment, like, the bad genetics and literally as you're getting pins, duty calls. It's just a string of bad luck and timing that made me empathize homie.
I'm glad you were able to find someone though

lol 😂 funny how shit works out.
I would say at least you got a sizeable amount even if you gotta harvest early but I know you’re not in it for the shrooms at this point.
It’s pretty automated though right? I bet you could cut them all down right before you head out and get back in time to harvest the next flush.

Finally swiped my first pan spores a couple days ago and so happy to be able to finally be on the road to having my first pans since my Florida years. (That's been a while...yeesh). So here's the thing. I live off grid, so have exactly zero electric I can dedicate to this. I'm confident I'll get fruits after having read through volumes of mucholder pan grows on here (holy shit- I found a relevant use for the outdated Shroomery threads! Hooray!), but am I correct that dragging my SGFC out of the boneyard for a Macmerdin tribute is pretty much my best/only option? I don't mind syringe watering and hovering given that I work from home but figured I'd get some options. Thanks! So excited.

Ngl, I'm feeling a little discouraged. This is my 2nd run at this species since a few years back. I followed instructions quite strictly this time. I used brf/hpoo cakes, knocked up via spore syringe. I allowed em to colonize in the jars (this allegedly was supposed to leave less room for contamination than spawning to substrate), I crumbled cakes into takeout trays, cased em with pasteurized casing layer, and put em in my humidity chamber. Last time I checked, the color green (pictured below) is never good. Alas, it seems I have contam yet again. Any advice or criticisms? Getting pretty fed up with waiting months for something that has failed 100% of the time for me...
