Yes I absolutely think it has to do with and Braden both of those strains have been domesticated a long time I’m working a lot with Yes I absolutely think it has to do with and Braden both of those strains have been domesticated a long time I’m working a lot with cordyceps and both inter & intra strain crosses are important to prevent senescence but also to hunt traits. I apply the same procedures with pans and when I bread some of the wild pan cam indo into the dwarfing sandoze the dwarfs disappeared (pics of non dwarfs above are the result fruits.

Cinctulus seems to be doing well.
That back one is gonna be a monster.
Was there any ever clarification with cinctulus potency? A lot of the older stuff I read people weren’t sure if it was weak or if people were picking inactive pans that commonly grew next to it.
I’ve heard mixed reports but I’m pretty sure the general consensus is they are weaker. From what I recently read it’s 4g dry as a posed to 1g pan cyan. The blue sclerotia is pretty cool looking. Very small though. I’m gonna try to clone the biggest.

That’s what I’m saying mixed reviews. More of a novelty thing. They came along with some pan cyan prints so I threw them on agar. I just like mushrooms.

In the shroomery mushroom info for pan cinctulus it says a lv3 trip is 3.8g and lv5 is 8 so that’s about half as potent as cubes so yeah not the greatest but they look cool

All mushrooms are fun to get growing, including the weak and inactive. If it can be cultivated I'd try cultivating it.

They look like they will!
Doing research into modifying one or two of my standard fc tubs into automated pan hatcheries much like your tub setup with some aquarium stuff and I'm figuring out whether to use timers or if I need a humidity controller for anything..
Im trying to keep it silent, low energy and low impact on space. Trying to avoid hoses and stuff going everywhere

lol i wish it was silent i have 4 of those pumps running 24/7 so you can def hear it but its not like loud or anything. i dont use no humidy controller or anything cuz it stays plenty humid in there. the submerged aquarium heater does a good job of warming the water and all that air bubbeling really cranks up the humidity and the fae. the lights are just 2 small 60watt cfl bulb desk lamps that i turn on and off manually every 12 hrs. and the only thing i have on a timer at all is a stand type fan that is pointed at the fc on one end so the air blows into the gap made from the clamp of the lamps and that only comes on for like 3 min every 3 hours or so. i have noticed no increase more than just a few dollars on my electrical bill. the only thing i have to do to it is add a lil water once a week or so to replace what has evaporated. so it really is low tech as shit if your looking for small scale and low maint. but if u have the room id rather have a martha/greenhouse set up for sure. i just dont have the room and i already had all this shit layin around the garage cuz when i started growin cubes i was an idiot and once i found the monotub i put all that crap in a pile in the garage and it sat there for 3 yrs til i started fucking with pans

Flush #2 is done and I can happily say my biggest flush of my entire growing career
Kinda nice being sporeless so no big mess... but no prints. I'll have a dry weight soon but guessing close to an oz between the 2 tubs! From one jar of spawn

Fuck yeah that’s such a nice tray!
It cracked me up the first time I figured out the spawn to doses ratio for pans. It’s like getting a dry quarter pound of cubes per quart lol.

Quagmire75 said: I have a bitter sweet update. I have my first pan fruits but it turns out that they are rhe sandose "midgets" that seemed to be circulating a while back. these are from the cambo sandose that had a clear ring around the mycelium and was slow on grain. I tossed like 5 or 6 jars and found a couple of stragglers a few days later. Since I didn't have anything else going i decided give them a shot. I do have some wild coast coming up that seems much better so far. Honestly I'm pretty stoked even though they are runts, because I think I'm starting to get the tent dialed in. I'm getting there LoL
Can someone please sent me spores or culture of these so-called midgets? I don't believe they exist. What I think is going on is that people are using very high amounts of grain nowadays. I haven't been on this site much in the last 5 years, but when I left, no one seemed to be talking about midgets. Now everyone is acting like they are a thing. So something has changed, and I don't think it's the gene pool.
I never used over 15% per weight grain, and I have never seen a "midget" EVER - NOT ONCE in 20 YEARS. Now I see people using 4 to 10X that amount of grain, and suddenly there are these "midgets" everywhere. If there is such a thing as midgets, then I'd like someone to please show me a picture of one grown on manure without tons of grain (i.e. spawn) or in a natural setting.
hey Blue Helix, I still have some of the spore syringe left. I would be glad to send it to you,PM me if you want it.
