According to blindingleaf's tek he suggests to sieve peat casing..
Because when i did it without sieving, it seems to have some parts that are kinda big that form a hairy ball texture, i just thought that it might be the reason that it isn't fruiting
Btw Psilosoulful I'm still waiting for you to update me with your last Pan grow.... I'm still waiting

Loll!! It stalled out and I had to toss it. The surface got too dry after leaving the top holes exposed too often and I couldn't get it back to proper moisture content. There was a bunch of caps that opened on the surface with no stems and i was like "Wtf..." Should've put it in my thread, but I was too pissed off. Just wanted to forget about it and move back to cubes for awhile.
But, I'm starting up a new pan cyan grow, and this time I'm gonna use dubtubs instead. Maybe I'll have more luck.
Thanks for the tip on sieving the casing, I'll make sure to do that for my future grows.

Well done the_r3dz, looking good!
Kinda reminds me of mexicana fruits
Mr.PhilCybin for all my pasteurization, i just put the material being pasteurized in a pillow and throw it in a thermo-insulated ice box that has water that was pre-heated to 170-175 F, it will sustain pasteurization temps for more than 2 hours.... will reach 140 F after maybe 2-3 hours, i love to do this cus I'm such a lazy mofo
Edit: I know what you're going through LOL, I'm getting pissed already, still no fruits
But I'm such a stubborn mofo that i won't give up till i get these fuckers to fruit! Still have transfers going wild on agar..
Update us once you do the dubs, and good luck brah!

Had a really weird occurrence that (very, very sadly) looks like my best pan cyan culture yet.
So on 11-18-15 (exactly 3 months ago) I added some colonized (pan cyan) grain to some sterilized rye berries. Never really took off, likely because I overcooked my rye.
Some white spots would appear time to time, but it was mostly dominated by slimeyness, bacteria I'm guessing, never went moldy. So I'm finally doing jar cleanup today and find that the jar is 2/3 colonized by what strongly resembles mycelium! Crazy, after stewing in fairly damp rye for 3 months it somehow lived and came out swinging! Who ever said pan cyan myc was whimpy?
I'm wondering if maybe some cube spores got in or something, or if it really is pan cyan.
The mycelium is all on top so I'm wondering if my best option would be to scalpel out a piece onto some agar and try to save the culture. Its either that or let it keep growing out, seems like it'll win in the end.
Thoughts?

yeah sounds kinda funky, I'd definitely go back to agar to see if it's clean or something weird. I've been noticing that my slow jars are actually bacterial, even though the growth looks really clean. when I dump it though, the smell is way off from what it should be.
if it's going fast you could just do a shake, let it finish, and smell it too

So I've definitely decided they aren't pans. Hopefully they are at least active :P anybody willing to look at these spores under a microscope for identification?

Maybe it'll be easier to tell once they mature but honestly I've heard mexicana and galindoi so I'm just too impatient, and not convinced it'll be super obvious

There are not impressive pin set at this moment, but I hope to see more in a few days. Now it's four bunch per tray and a few little lonely guys around. I have improved conditions in the greenhouse compared to the last time, I do not know why they are still so modest )) but the competition is in full swing

What are your conditions? Humidity looks extremely low in there.
