Yeah lol hes a lonely fella for sure, but I can see several tiny pins just barely poking through the casing all around as well. That's just the biggest one. Theres also some coming up the sides from side pinning. I gave the casing a heavy watering last night, I think maybe I've been keeping it too dry because I've been worried about the mold.

That was my problem too, I kept coming here to look at pictures to feel better when I thought I was drowning them.

ya at first u kinda look at it by using cube standards your saying to yourself thats way way too fuckin wet. but then you notice things and shit will  just click and youl see what they like and what they dont. its hard to describe that wetness and sometimes pics are not a good thing to go by. but really the only sure way to know it is to do it.

no thats racist according to these fucking morons. how dare you say all pans matter. its all black pans matter now lol. 😂😂 my lord even my all black friends are laughing at all this shit with these idiots crying about syrup and shit. cuz they r smart enough to know that them fucktards are nothing but a anti American socialist movement trying to take advantage of white guilt to get what they want wich is laws for everyone wlse but themselves and mob rule.
they are just every bit as much of logical thinkers as antifa. lol were gnna stop fascism  by being fascists. there is nothing truly more scarry to these ppl than a fully united black and white America and that my friends is the fucking truth. i think everyone needs to eat a handful of pans turn off the idiot box and think for them fucking selves! oh and stop blocking my fucking car in traffic.

im literally stuck here right now again wtf🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I think this will be my best tray so far :dancer:

Got the grains going now for Estero, FSU, Jam and Thai.

I have found straight oats to be the fastest by a longshot. I tried JOCs rye/millet mix but it is just so slow:confused:, maybe I am doing something wrong but it takes 3+ weeks where the oats are 7-10 days.

What are you using JMC and HereIGrow?

The grain speed is just a matter of getting your grain hydration just right. L millet is among the hardest to hydrate in that window but once u get it it’s my fav, oats can work really well are used to nothing but oats for a while there the issue with them is is some batches are different than others a few bags I got the pans would contaminate on every jar cubes and gourmet colonized it fine but every so often there are oats that pans cannot deal with so now I only cut them in at about 15 to 20% just to add some extra hydration pockets to the mill it but ultimately the grain doesn’t matter as long as youGet clean Spawn

That’s a good lookin tray tho!

as for speed of grain i think its mostly genetics and moisture content like jake said. my jam cultures i have saved that im waiting for pins on now colonized 4 one qt jars without a shake in 6 days from wedge drops

I've been using a mix of oats/straw/verm/manure as spawn, heavy on the oats. The myc seems to rip right through it.

This tray is the first one from the rye/millet mix. I started them all at the same time but the oats fruited and chopped when the rye/millet mix was just being spawned. Jake is likely right though. I know oats well and they have treated me well with cubes. Going to try a spawn bag like Asura as soon I can get some clean LC. The myc is so thick you can chew on it but its trichy :frown:
