Another Wild Coast isolate seems pretty happy!
Last one before I need to run more grain. Next round is Estero, Thai, Jam and FSU.

I have a bitter sweet update. I have my first pan fruits but it turns out that they are rhe sandose "midgets" that seemed to be circulating a while back. these are from the cambo sandose that had a clear ring around the mycelium and was slow on grain. I tossed like 5 or 6 jars and found a couple of stragglers a few days later. Since I didn't have anything else going i decided give them a shot. I do have some wild coast coming up that seems much better so far. Honestly I'm pretty stoked even though they are runts, because I think I'm starting to get the tent dialed in. I'm getting there LoL

That’s a good compromise I guess. If you get it dialed in quick you’ll get something out of it and if not then whatever not a waste of a great culture.
It does suck that those even exist though.
I think I have that same hygrometer, but it goes haywire after a day in high humidity. I ended up finding it easier to judge by how things looked.

I have the same hydrometer Working great after a month still in and out of the chamber. Glad I got good genetics off the bat... or more like lucky! Hope none of my prints turn out like that. I'll give a potency update soon but I have nothing other than cubes or dmt to compare it to. I can say what should have been a very microdose(2shrooms) got me visuals.

Yeah @aka I'm going to let them roll till my others are ready for the GH, cause at least I'm getting something Lol and I'm pretty sure that hygrometer isn't working right because it has read 99% for a while now. @jcm dude that's a lot of midgets! When I showed my wife the ones I grew, she said that they look like dog ticks lol.

man i had to sort thru so many bad trays of jams to get the cultures i got now it was insane bro. between all the inbred look mutants and the overlay issues it was a nightmare. and then i had the mutant midgets agan 3 times from the same sandose syringe so i juat gave up on those and tossed the syringe in the trash.

I don't blame you man, now that I know I'm done with that syringe.
@luv I made some tea from fresh midgets (about 3 gram's ) and I had mild visuals so I'm definitely looking forward to a good dose.

I’m pretty sure it’s a pan cyan from Africa but not 100% Also I have some rejuvenated sandoze prints (well Alan has them)

Black pans matter...haha....
@Jake Sounds like you may possibly be working on the pans I found that I sent prints and samples to Alan for I.d
Heres some of the original pics
These were growing on leaf matter-not dung-which is what makes them unusual for pans.. Hanswermhat recently posted up some pics of his tray that he was successful in gettin some fruits. There are a few I have passed prints out to but jake I wish you the best of luck to get a full tray of fruits You certainly know pans and have the skills And if they are the ones I found-Hopefully soon we can all know what they are... I know Ive been itching to find out

Got my first pins popping up in the pools this morning 😍😍 I knew this could work. You can see where I patched the trich with lime in the background. Not adding it to the casing mix originally was my own dumb mistake, but now that I have proof of concept it's on like donkey Kong boys. I've already got new spawn inoculated with agar, with my timetable it should be ready around the 14th. Maybe sooner because I used a few chunks of agar instead of just 1 this time, but I think that's about as fast as its gonna get. I'm just gonna let these 2 contaminated pools run until then and see what I can get out of them. It's good practice I guess and the beds outside are still giving fruit regularly 🤷♂️ don't think I've been discouraged guys! I'm determined to get this right!
I've actually been thinking of casing with lime pasteurized straw, the outdoor beds seem to love it. I only made enough spawn for 2 this time so maybe I'll do one straw and one peat/verm?
