Is RDU even real? I had some Hawaiian's drop red spores
a while back. And I'm pretty sure Blue Helix grew some and they
turned out normal. I know he grew out some red colored pans from
Indonesia that were totally normal looking way back. I think he
postulated that it was environmental stress. I don't know. Just
sorta throwing it out there.

While I’m waiting on getting my next grow going... I’ll just put this here as a reminder that I can grow more than 5 ...

I have had this lot going in the shower with the fan on and continual misting with a cover over the top of the shower.  Its only my first flush and I already lost about ten percent of my cakes to trich.
Would this be poor spawn or not enough fae?

Ah okay thanks for the insight. The spawn is quit variable with the way it forms.  Sometimes it is super healthy.  Other times just grey and subtle.

Yeah it is the appartment greenhouse - If you have a spare bathroom it works well.  As much as I would love a greenhouse on the balcony, it just wouldn't work.

Holy shit guys! Got an update for you from the 3 kiddie pools I spawned Saturday morning. There's already big patches of mycelium coming through the surface on all 3 and it hasn't even been 48hr! I think this is gonna work guys! I may end up having to case them 🤣

Heres some pics

I made a mix of oats/chopped straw/verm/manure and used that as spawn. The estero pool got 6 qt jars and the other 2(wild coast and jamaica) both got a 4ish lb bag. I inoculated them all with agar on 6/8, shook once on 6/12 and spawned 6/20. I'm gonna make a shit load of casing mix today so it's ready to go by the weekend. These are moving waaaaay faster than I expected.

Anyone had cactus/Mescaline with pans? ...I'm going to give it a whirl tonight. I hear it's a good combo.

Well I did 2 other beds on the ground outside with just hay and manure, no casing, and I've been getting daily harvests from both since they started.  I'm gonna case these ones though. I live in a coastal Tropical climate so pans do great outside. They grow everywhere here.

5th flush of the skinny eithiopian bamas god i cant wait to get rid of this tray. i was able to get a cpl decent clones tho and they are looking pretty good on plates so im hoping the next grow of these will at least give me more average fruits. but the aussies attempt #2 are going into the fcs tonite so my fingers are crossed.

also the jam cultures i put to grain are shredding thru that shit fast as hell
