I have the pan cyan on agar right now that somebody named gator. I guess it came from the Everglades? Don't remember who I got it from.

It’s a cyan, but that’s beside the point I was trying to make.

Lookin good Pudo
Excuse me I’m dumb and may have missed where you posted your setup. Would it be beneficial to use a tub with lower walls? Or is your GH set up in a way that makes that a non-factor?

Man, that is a killer grow!

And about the names...I think even if there were cool names, most pan cultivators (me included) want
to know what part of the world they came from. And yeah, Australia is a big ass place. I've been working
some wild prints from Garners Falls, Queensland...so when I send out prints I will call them
var. Garners Falls. But still Blue Psykosis or some such shit would be funny.

They should be called bogans delight.

Cosmic Giggle
I misunderstood, I thought you were looking for more of an official list of Panaeolus / Copelandia varieties list as sort of a cultivation aspiration / or goal.
It seems with the major spore vendors have several (2-4) varieties. However, when you start getting into varieties the are just subtypes based on a locale... those varieties are constantly growing and contracting.  Best of luck to you. I have a fresh Panaeolus Cyanescens var Wild Coast (south Africa) print for you if you send me your address…

Me too!

In the mean time this is going to grain next. First pan clone!

This one is twice as fast as the other one I took. Idk if it’s the nute in the plate or what but the other clone is doing that marshmallow thing about to be pressed against the lid.

Well I finally did end up getting some pins day 8 on that bacterial tray, my side pins are astounding I almost thought about breaking it up to face the sides up.and the other tray doesn’t look as bad as the first but still not at all great also this small tub here is about finished colonizing and I don’t want it to overlay. It almost seems like you have to case and introduce right before it’s finished, it overlays so quickly. Is this about when you guys would case this. It still has a couple small spots left and normally I would leave it in a bit longer

Those dense white masses are something I never want to see in a tray. It happens
and it doesn't mean all is lost, but it hasn't ever been a good sign for me
personally.

Once I lay a tray, I really don't like to keep it in recovery for longer than
5 days. So if it's ready it's ready and if not, I would put it in fruiting.
Again, that's just my preference. But keep in mind, I am putting fully colonized
sub in trays. If you are spawning directly to trays you could probably go a
little longer.

yup yup

thats the difference right there celestial. when we are laying our trays our substrate is already 100% colonized cuz we had it colonize in bags. so when we lay to trays its just a matter of allowing it to recover 100% and then casing it. i know usually my trays are ready for casing by day 3. but like asura said if your spawning to trays like you would do with cubes its def gnna take longer. and u really dont know if your sub is actually 100% even in see through trays your really just making your best guess at if its fully colonized or not.  thats one thing i really like about the bags cuz i can break it open and see for sure and if you have spots that aint they sure as shit will be once that shit is all mixed up and put to trays. kinda like shaking a jar

Yes I’m sure it isn’t cube. Thanks azura, I think I’m going to start doing manure and rye bags for panas just because of how fast they colonize and overlay and to kill that recovery time. I have a couple more quarts that should be done tomorrow I will have to spawn but after that no more. The overlay is too hard to control. It’s starts before the tray is even done colonizing
