Think I should shake the pans on the left, or let it go a bit. There's patches almost 360 around the jar from me shaking the fuck out of a tiger drop.

Asura said: Psilo! Really happy for you man. Congratulations. You can probably wait a day or so and see if they get bigger. The spores will still be dropping then. Or you could harvest, pour about 6 oz water on the casing and get another flush going. The next flush should pop up within 12 hours to a day.
Thank you Asura I’d say about 25-35 % are dropping spores so I’m going to try and print this evening. Assuming I’m successful, first ten folks to request a print - I’ll send one your way. Panaeolus Cyanescens var. Wild Coast

hey psilo, the new guy would love to try one of your prints. Thank you

Thanks a ton, definitely looks right it's that thin filamentous growth. Shit's always tomentous or really odd on agar.

Here’s all the ones i have on wbs.

Idk if the first one looks better cuz it’s a different brand of wbs or cuz it’s clone myc.

Do you mind me asking on this thread your WBS process?
I've tried a 24 hour soak and quick simmer.
No soak just rinse till clean water and a 20 minute boil while keeping it moving.
Last night tried Foomans? Rinsed clean, brought water to boil and got off heat and left tight lid on for 30 minutes.

well I’ve used two kinds and they needed way different prep.
The first picture there with the darker bigger seeds is my favorite so far. It’s Walmart and just a white bag that says wild bird seed on it.
I just dump it in a bucket and soak it for at least 24 hours, up to 36 a couple times. Usually around 12-16 hours I change the water cuz it’s got oil floating on top by then.
Then I just dump it on a big screen and let it sit for like 45 minutes and load it up. I’ve also just scooped out a strainerful and let it drain for 10 minutes and loaded it wet with no problems.
The second kind was Pennington’s southwest blend and it’s garbage. I got an incredible amount of bacteria no matter what I did. At least 50% failure rate.
It could also only soak like 12 hours or most of the seeds would explode. This stuff was like having to choose between too dry or losing half to bacteria.

So I'm using Penningtons WBS, and my agar has fucking failed 99% of the time now from grain water (never happened with rye or barley)
Guess I need to stop being lazy and go back to using my MEA or PDA.
I'm assuming that's why my failure is so high with Lions Mane and Pan Cyans.
I've heard Lions Mane is as aggressive as Oyster but doesn't seem to be the case for me.
Cubes/Oyster don't seem to mind this shit. I got 50lbs of it, so gotta make use of it. Bird feeder only can be refilled so much!

Yeah i did, musta got burried
But yes i did about 4 yrs ago with very terrible technique. Just a tray on a shelf hand misted. Managed to get a couple of fruits somehow but they aborted halfway, i did a really terrible job with them
Gh was totally occupied at the time so i figured what the hell, gave it a shot.
This is my first proper attempt though. Have 2 bags goin, spawned this morning with grain. Seems dry af but i used exactly 62.5% water, so we shall see!
Imma get it right eventually this time around, i promise
Have some beautiful pan bisp on agar, and alabama and jams on sub bags, wild coast and another 3 alabama cultures on grain

c10, you just keep putting in the work and there's a switch that will go off suddenly and then you'll be pulling down trays all the time. Not uncommon at all to have troubles at the beginning. I don't think you are far off.

On the subject of poo, I've got a field I can get it from, the horse vet helped me out. Of course it's raining not but after it dries up and it's sunny for a week straight. Am I just looking for the most weathered poop, or just get some poop? What's good poo look like?
