It's kind of a snowflake pattern. Not really evident in these pics, but sometime it's got small white dots of myc like sand grain size like maybe it is going to form small stones?
I've had this on all wild prints: wild coast, british virgin islands, and blue springs.
I had that happen on some of my T3 and T4s from the Pan cyan Beulah I got from MF. But when I got to T5 it wasn’t as noticeable. And sometimes the opaque white dots of myc would grow to be the size of a dime.

thats exactly what i did i just called it soaking cuz i got that shit wet as fuck and then poured off excess water 2 hrs later and thru back in the fc. im sure its just a genetic lost cause. sucks cuz i had pins all over the place they were just skinny ass midgets was all. il giv em a few days to a week and see what happens but im already over it and planning to move on. il go back to the germ plate and try again with them

I took several pieces of inner stipe closer to the Pileus on two different plates for clones because my aseptic technique is questionable,. Running out of iso alc baaaadd,. Working with one inch squares of alc prep pads... fml

I have pan trop Aus from Jake, ps mex Jalisco ps mex chicon nindo and ps viva aka hoogs all on germ plates rn,. Is it just me or do you guys also sweat like a fucking dog using a still air box,.??? My gawd,. Lol,.
Because of the questionable aseptic tech,. I’m so shaking in my boots right now but I just couldn’t wait another indeterminate amount of time again to get the genes on plates,....
Oh yeah all the clones came from a 5.12 gram pan,. I’m so excited to see what I can do with this guy haha,.
Already have jars waiting,.

ya so do i but it was only something i did to see if maybe i had some dry spots in the sub that were causing me to get these skinny ass toothpick fruits. while im sure its just bad genetics i thought that before i tossed the trays in the trash id atleast try that. i have had dry subs in the past when the casing was wet tho. and i was talking with asura and he said hes had the same thing happen before too. while i dont think thats what this issue was but if im willing to toss them in the trash i figured a good wetting couldnt hurt it at this point.

I've been lurking here for a few years. Just recently got an account. My growing experience is noob. I have lots of success with cubes but after reading this post I attempted pans. I used MacMerdin tech with burying the jars and still haven't gotten a mushy to pop. My question is can I take my cake and break it up to bulk like BRF cakes? I haven't seen anyone do this or I may have missed the page but was just curious.

I Hope I still manage to get a flush. What is those with dots in the poo? Guess I didn't pasteurize correctly. 2 out of 5 trays has a little bit of this only at the surface from what I can see. Only the amount in the picture. Anyone with experience? Will still case them tho.

So I bought me an air-humidifier and two big boxes to set up two FCs for growing pans.
I'm unsure about how to set them up. Is it right that the fog / humidified air should be connected to the upper part of the boxes, and fresh air exchange on the bottom right above the substrate, pulling the air out? Why not push fresh air in, from the top also? Are there dos and don'ts that are crucial?

all depends on what ya want to do. im sure any would work fine although im not a fan of macs fruiting method as i have tried that b4 and couldnt keep a high enough humidity with as much fae needed. im gone usually almost 16 hrs a day so i cant b there to tend to it. i have tried monos, hcs, sgfcs and failed with all hence the setup i got now. it all just depends how things work for you and the environment in which ul be growing

I just wanted to share something with the class here. So Beginning to experiment with pans I colonized a couple wbs jars of pan jam and when I spawned to bulk I accidentally grabbed the wrong bag of sub I use for cubes. It was just coir/verm/handful of Charlie’s compost manure(poultry)/ couple tablespoons of gypsum/1/2 teaspoon calcium carbonate 50/50 and the results were surprisingly good.
This was a day or two before harvest sadly I didn’t take any pics of that but it wasn’t bad by any means. I just got some hpoo and I’m going to be trying that this time but I thought I’d just share the results of regular substrate with everyone. Also speaking of h poo does anyone have any suggestions for recipes.

Hard to say I’d go ahead and case it tho when/if it’s fully colonized and see what happens over if it is small specs of contam depending on what it is it may not hurt much. Everything could be fine too it’s hard to tell

Thank you for sharing your knowledge Will make sure to update you my Pan-fam so someone else might be in the same position one day.
Got 5 trays coming all from different clones. Super stoked. Even if they come out half as good as my first MS tray I will have Pans for a few years to come
