It looks like there are two distinct phenotypes there. Or is that just an illusion and they all mature to have those thick stipes?

Thanks Jake, do you know if pans are using the grainspawn for nutrition or is it just a way for us to grow more myc to put in the manure??
I’m wondering cuz this tray has pretty much just the spawn that was stuck to the bottom of the jar from my first try but it doesn’t seem to matter much.
Anyway they got much taller overnight, I’m assuming the caps will lighten up by tomorrow, some are just starting to.
Definitely taking a few clones from that cluster on the end.

Yeah man this went way better than I expected going in.
Do the caps always turn that white/grey color when they’re done?
A few have gotten somewhat lighter and the gills are visible. I want to grab prints so when do you think the window will be? Im guessing probably sometime tonight.

These are so much taller than my first grow too. Still amazing how fast they are.

lol I love that last pic still.
So that last picture they’ll drop good prints?
How much longer do you think I’ve got? Morning would be perfect.
I think my first grow having the conditions all over the place and stressing them out so much made the mushrooms much slower and thicker.
Some of these are decent size but most have shot up and look like stretched out toothpicks with caps.

I don’t know anything about these inkbird controllers....but this seems like a good deal. Less than I thought I’d have to spend anyways. Can anyone comment on the effectiveness and value of these Inkbirds ?? Will these do the job of controlling the temperature and humidity, and last at least a year?

thanks grim 👍 good vibes being sent your way also man 😃 i just hope i can pull some great clones from this grow. im also hoping for some fruits that will actually drop spores. i know asura said he has very few of these that will even drop anything at all. but since this is a ms grow i am not expecting anything spectacular yield wise.

Nice one A.K.a.
What are the differences? Another substrate, different ratios, modified fae setup, or what?
Looks good!

Thanks guys, so happy with it.
This one actually has way way less spawn, the first one I used like 3/4 of the quart and was saving the rest for g2g but then I just used it to make another grow, partly cuz idk if they eat manure or grain for nutrients.
The main difference though was just figuring out the fogger and dialing everything in. Believe it or not having the plastic piece arched over the top made a huge difference, that’s when I stopped getting bruised caps.
Now I just gotta get prints and it’ll be a total success.
So I’m not harvesting yet cuz I want to let more caps flatten out, but looking down at the surface there’s quite a few pins. Idk if they’re aborts they look normal but I’m assuming it’ll be impossible to harvest without killing them right?

Alright I lied. Harvest time.

Just over 90 wet. Caps printing and clones from the huge cluster picked out.

These were way taller than I expected.
